Just watch that.
You know I have generally preferred WoWP over certain competitors game due to multiple reasons. Now in a single patch WG has managed to make this game as (#)¤"#¤ as the other flight game. This change compresses the skill differences tremendously. It also prevents one from shooting planes that don't move in a straight line because then the autoaim will drag the shots away from where the enemy plane will be into somewhere where it thinks the enemy will be.
This also means the death of WoWP as an esports. I propose we protest this change by not participating in the SIlverwings 4x4 tournament anymore. In anycase if this change is not reverted it is highly likely that I will not participate in WoWP esports anymore.
Edit:
Thanks to Daemon93 and Stabu for making this even better example of deflecting shots.

Explain this away by 'spread'

Ok, after looking into our battle statistics I can confirm that we have more than 50% increase in hits/shots ratio. It's more that can be explained by improved mouse controls, and most probably is a new bug in the code, related to "autoaim". There is other possibility that include OP "sniper" skill of pilot, so we will go deeper in analysis.
Thanks to everyone who brings the problem to our attention. We will continue to investigate the problem this week, and push for including fix in 0.5.3.3 if suspicion confirms.
Yay it's likely a bug! So now we just have to wait until they fix it.
E3:

Now it's a bug again! AHMAGAD! I'm going to cry if this just false hope.

Can you explain what you are panicking about to me? I don't get it. We have autoaim?

how about you look at the video, especially at the end?
When he purposefully tries to miss, and still keeps hitting.

He tries to miss by a huge margin and still hits... that's not good.
That means that killing someone is too easy, and evading too hard.

Does that mean we just fart vaguely in an enemie´s direction and he´s down ?
Or we are down, whatever skills we have to avoid that ?

Lets try the same scenario with Fw 57 or something that fires slowly and has only two guns. I dont see too much apart from the bullet spread, but I may be wrong...

Go on and try it. I tried it with several planes.

Can't you see how the bullet spread changes when the aimpoint moves? It's like the stream of bullets is split into 2. Part go right at the enemy and part miss it. Look at the start of the video for the natural bullet spread with that plane.

If this is a feature and not a bug, then I can't even imagine a person that could have come up with this stupid a** retarded thing.

I will. I just need some time to do it. I see what you did, I just need to feel how much of it is bullet spread

Well the bullet spread tilted to the left when the crosshair moved to the right which is not right. Seem like that the spread compensated the "bad" aim(this time was intentional but still)

So....a BNZ fighter with bad aim can still take a chunk out of my Gorbuns?

Gotta pack up my wrath in 100kg packages and blow up enemy planes with it.
