There was always that level of auto aim in the game. The devs just broke it last patch and reverted it to the pre 5.3 levels this patch.

The bullets still deviate, but do they also inflict as much damage as before?

At least with 262 they seem to do, granted we don't have much data about it.

As I said in the 0533 changes topic.. nothing will change.. if working as intended youll still have deviating bullets when you miss by ~10 degrees within 500m.
These pictures only confrim not even that is the case, even at 1600m, far beyond the effective range of the 110B, bullets deviate to the target rofl.

WG why you no give us convergence settings so you can remove this crap and your players can return?

Sigh. At this point I find it easier to pay money for my WoT premium than play 15 games in WoWP for tokens every day.  :sceptic:

Well i actually survived today and passed between bullets of a Heavy fighter while i had 2hps left!!! That never happened to me in 5.3!
I even told him in chat: NO MORE AUTO AIM 4 U!!!

Auto-aim on very close distances (AKA 200m and below) is okay for me though. I am sick and tired of those moments like in WoT, where you bump into a KV-2 and still manage to miss, shotgun aiming be blessed.

200m would be somehow acceptable, the current 1600meters+ is retarded in my opinion. Though i'm sure there are players who are happy that they have auto-aim up to 5 km.

Some games with GAA and managed to stay alive way longer than usual with previous patch. Don't know if it was the autoaim or a buff in GAA.

Don't know how much changed, played only 13 rounds. At least K/D ratio doubled, could be luck.

Auto-aim can still be seen but it is a noticeable improvement when compared with the latest patch.  A move in the right direction.
