Yeah they should definatly bias the acception to the earlier requests, as they were actually  around before and have more intrest in the game.
People who see an AD in their corner and just click for random and get invite, they probably wont even accept it.
My application went in 6 minutes after it was opened, still waiting.

It's really strange. people come up get an invite and their forum acc has 1! post about how they've got an invite and people who wait actively posting on forums don't get anything

These are the people who just signed up, got mail and now just write about their luck.
The rest of people who wait actively and posting on forums don't do any other things than playing WoWp.

Or it's just "multi-accounting", simple as that. You could just triple your chances of getting an invite by creating new accounts for RU and NA server groups, too. Doesn't make any sense to me, cause i want ONE unified account.

To all those lucky alpha-testers, who just love to annoy those poor unlucky fellows:
If you like your invite sooooooooo much ask it out for a date, or better marry it! Otherwise I just cant believe how childish some people are. They swagger with their invitations instead of testing the game, thus improving it. WG truly makes some false decisions, dont they?

How can its possible that MikleBenz who has 32 battles on NA server, 0 on european, and 0 on ru can be alpha tester, i just dont understand this because he had registerd him self just for testing and get an invitation, witch makes lots of players with tousends of battles and active in forum harmed in my opinion.

Yea I don´t think it´s fair to allow players who played only couple of games to get in before us who are alrdy familiar with WG and how they work
but hey I´m not deciding who gets in and who not so I really can´t judge WG´s decicions on this

I guess since they haven't closed the invite link, there is still a possibility. I just noticed the Global Alpha announcement a bit late.

Guys cheer up, if you weren't accepted to the alpha test, the closed beta is not far away. According to that Zezulin guy, we get the CB in the first quarter of 2012, that means april or may in WoT time.
