i'm at IL Tier 5. :/
but from my me262 experience, IL play a huge role and if you leave the counter going up, you will lose.
The problem is bad IL players who make suicide runs for one or two GTs. a good IL will stay below his team.

I am a pretty good GAA player who don't make those stupid mistakes and even I get jumped. Had 3 games last night where I pretty much had to dogfight 2 iL 20 in the first game, got jumped by a 262 in the second and by a IL 40 in the third, barely made 3 or 4 ground targets in each of those games which isn't much fun to say the least.
Not to mention the games where my team got shot in 20seconds or so while I was just starting my GAA run.

I'm not crazy, I can fly, that's all
"The meaning of victory is not to merely defeat your enemy but to destroy him, to completely eradicate him from living memory, to leave no remnant of his endeavours, to crush his achievement and remove all record of his very existence. From that defeat there is no recovery. That is the meaning of victory."

A very interesting (and funny) read! Good job! I'll make sure this gets reported to the Community Managers so they can see about getting it further.
A few things are going to change though in the 1.2 patch, among them the gun dispersion.
That’s right! Ice… man. I am dangerous.

The whole thing with the damage to HP ratio at higher tier is really strange. 262 will make you toast in 2 seconds which is something that you cant see on lower tiers and rest of the HF line.

Exactly. Which is why giving ILs a cr*pload of HP (on higher tiers especially) doesn't make them any more survivable. Better performance is the only thing that could make 'em more survivable.

Or a force field able to defend them by any threat and not only by their own bombs but then i want the Defiant

I took my fugly 20 out on Fjords last night, had to ram a mountain to put her out of her cosmetic misery

IL 10 is good fun and why is it good fun???? Because it is more manoeuvrable so at least you can dodge some planes and counter attack, it's as simple as that.

It doesn't take skill to fly, it takes skill to not make mistakes.

Gun dispersion as a whole, or? And what's this bovine excrement I hear/read about increasing the damage from fighters on ground targets? That smells greatly of troll, just like the event where light and heavy fighters were encouraged by WG to bring bombs and rockets to the fight. We want to discourage that, not encourage that! As far as I'm concerned, they can take bombs and rockets away from all fighters. Too many times matches because of heavy fighters ground pounding and then actually saying "I'm not a fighter, I'm a bomber!" when you point out that a heavy fighter is not meant to carry bombs.
Have to agree with everything... The moment I saw WoWP I hoped for at least true-to-their-real-life-counterpart airplane stats... I have complained countless times about most of the things you wrote but each attempt to talk some sense into the devs was a failure.
Personally, I don't think anything will get fixed anytime soon...
