This mod allows you to see a personal rating representing the skill of each player directly in the battle interface. This rating is calculated following a fairly complex and comprehensive formula.

DPTL=(KA * Enemy Aircraft Destroyed + KA * Assist Points + KG * Ground Targets Destroyed / 2) / Battles Participated + Victories / Battles Participated + Battles Survived / Battles Participated

KA and KG - ratio which depends of plane’s type.

The result is a number from zero to eight. It means that for now the best known player is rated "8.01", but it could be more. You can easily compare your skill to the skill of your adversary and act accordingly.

The statistics module "hryunometr" is written in "python" and it doesn't affect the graphics subsystem of the game. It works with the official WG API. It doesn’t collect any data about the user and doesn't send anything to any third party resource. The source code is open and available from the author.

This mod can operate either separately or as a part of other mods. It is fast, simple, reliable and secure.

Not very useful to me I am afraid

Now, if you can create a stupidity mod to rate the possibility of idiocy happening amongst all the players that would be awesome!

I tried installing your mod, but no success.

Unzipping in installation folder, and running the .bat does noting. Running that same .bat as admin results in an runtime error when i try to start wowp.

I ended up using my backup and playing without the mod.

i have a few questions:

Is there another way to get it to work?

Why do you even replace some files in the res folder? just putting that file in the res_mods should work fine, res_mods overrides res afaik. this prevents hassle with backups.

Thanks in advance

edit: it works after redownloading, something must have been corrupted

It is the only way to get it to work... you have all the files, you can try for yourself.

I would be really interested in the ability to edit the layout of the unit icons and HP bars, such as you can with XVM. Any chance you could get that to work in WoWp?

hryuun, you are missing a line in the paths.xml file. If I remember correctly it is for the gui. I'll compare the files later today and I'll send you the row that is missing.

Well the game refused to launch for me for me with that paths.xml file.

Spoiler

Deleting the mod (use backup scripts folder) did not solve the issue. I have to restore the paths.xml fie (from test client) for it to work.

Gave your mod a whirl Hryuun. Was a bit...iffy at first due to the scores in the messages and what not but actually after some reflection its a really nice layout. Very clean look that doesn't spoil the games interface. One thing though, could you post a colour list of player rating please? Just so I know before hand what colours to watch out for.

The package also includes radar with adjustable position and size, ingame and hangar clocks and unofficial clan system, which shows known clan tags.

How can I remove / disable in game and hangar clock?

I'll add the possibility to select and customise components of my mod in the next version. Meanwhile you can replace hudEngineInfo.swf and hangar.swf with their original versions.

Since file myclans.xml file doesn't look really xml-ish, how should exactly a clan should be defined, especially how to put 2nd and subsequent members, after space, comma or other way?

it is not xml format, it is optimized for faster downloads. Users separeted by space.

Thanks, and if I'd like to put another clan, should it look like:

[clan]Clan I[/clan]

[users]user1 user2[/users]

[clan]Clan II[/clan]

[users]user3 user4[/users]

(except  [ and ] should be different)?
