+1 from me, nothing like being kicked in the nuts by the Gods of XP after a good fight but still ending up on the losing side.

Double plus one with nuts on it. I have been on the losing side with 7 kills before and that was down to a poor team and not my skill set so yup, totally agree with OP.

Nothing is more frustrating than you killing 7 (or more) of the enemy team, damaging others and still losing the fight. (know dat feel)

at last it give me less rage when i have more than 10 lose game in raw in 1 day  and being top 5 and decide to use ap and worsted thing on my plane to not wasting cash.

Reward top five on losing side ? Arbitrary or what, why, 5 don't we like 3 or 6.

to be serious there are so many reasons why this is a back ward step if we 

at least look beyond our own need to feel rewarded and valued. Let's be slightly more radical 

get rid of the unreal "TEAM" concept .Unless there is a strategic end game then the present

concept of We killed more of you... Is quite simply a little stupid and if it is so ingrained amongst

us that we don't want to change it then reward only on damage done .Not planes downed but

scaled only to damage done so regardless of a win or lose situation you will accumulate credits

and xp at same rate but only if you are doing something positive.

Yes I know then the whole win rate nonsense is thrown out the window.....

But hey that's a good thing isn't it?

Current situation is a collective responsibility with exp pool. You can sh.t bricks, and if your team fails miserably, you will get sh.t. Opposite also works - you can do sh.t, and if your team will kick enemy team's ass to 0 or some low number of casualties, you will get a crapload of exp.

 

2nd thing is that HPs are not equal - Il HP gives far less XP than fighter HP, so not much scaling, because I guess WG wants to keep HP price secret.

 

Again my point - get damn XP algorithm from WT, not some secret twisted WG product.

Agree with OP.

 

There should be also bonus xp for non dmg stuff which reward good flying, time spent in battle, saving team player from enemy, spotting, evading moves, time if enemy is on your six etc. Average and bellow players might have hard time with silver even at tier 6, which is not case in WoT where few hits nets enough silver. WoWP economy is too hard for 150-250 average exp players.

Funny how people here talk about teamplay and that something like this will not stimulate teamplay.

But every time I go into a random battle, my whole team pretty much flies around like a couple of headless chickens (if chickens could fly).

So I don't think much will change.

Well if this happened my il-2 would be elite allready. 

 

nah its ok just be proud to be top of team list btw headless chickens can fly they have wings still (and less mass to lift) direction is not their strong point.:veryhappy:

That one they may call "Wining is not everything" not like that special where one of requirements was win a battle and they named it like they did.

Gets my vote....+1....how many times have you had 3/4/5 kills  or 5/6/7 ground kills and there rest of team disappears in a puff of smoke only for your team to lose???

 

Makes you wonder what the word 'team' means here

Well for many its just about trying to get as many kills....at no matter what cost.....they dont care about teamwork.....

I'm a big fan of the courageous resistance bonus in WoT so something similar would be very welcome. Even if its just an xp/credit boost for the #1 pilot on the losing team.
