Although I'm not a huge WW2 aircraft fan in the sense that I'd know all the planes inside and out (I've been more interested in WW1 and closer to current day planes), this is one I'm certainly waiting for.

edit: Looks like Mustang has had quite the variety of weaponry on the variants
4x 7.62mm
4x 12.7mm
6x 12.7mm
4x 20mm

Some bomb and rocket carrying capability too, although the article didn't specifically mention it.

An additional Quick Fact ought to read that it was the most produced US aircraft in WW2.

The topic had bit of a typo, Wold instead of Wild.
(Wold = Moor, plains)
Will the game have cavalry attacking ground targets in lowest tiers?  :Smile_trollface:

Well strange that pep's call this an American plane.

Yes it was built there.

NO it was not designed there.

Designed in the UK it was intended for RAF use

British engineers designed the plane but no spare capacity was available to build it. Rather than lose production rates of other airframes it was decided to approach a single contractor and get him to build it for us

Under lend-lease this happened with loads of different vehicles, built in USA factory's for use by UK solders, especially with Fighters and Bombers. after construction these aircraft could then be flown in stages across the Atlantic to Scotland under there own power, thus relieving presser on the convoys who where ferrying tanks, food and ammo to the UK.
