Not bad since I only wrote something I came up while "doing" my homework

Yet as with any contest there can be only a few winners.
In the last contest everyone won, so that kind of falls in on itself.
Great, this means more waiting for GAT and more contests that I will never win.
Been waiting since the 23rd February, almost 2 months. We were told that those of us waiting since the start would get in yet, nothing so far, other than invitations to the StarHawk Beta and the Ghost Recon Future soldier Beta, but not the one thing I actually wanted to get into, which is this, even if it is Alpha.
Congratulations to the winners I guess, and the one person who spammed them with Haiku's and got in. I thought we were only limited to one Haiku per entry so that isn't really fair either.

I would have gave you a plus but I'm all out for today.
Mostly for the last part; I mean they could have told us that multiple haikus were allowed. I would have done more but I was thinking either they won't take them into account or will take just the first one. I even asked but I wasn't told anything so I thought why risk it?. But it seems that I should have. Not saying that I would have won, but at least I would have increased my chances, like most people did.
Well anyways, congrats to the winners!

Yes, but that contest was a little harder than just writting a few sentences, to tell you the truth i only entered my haiku cause I hoped it will be the same as before and that all participants will be given an invite, didn't really expect to win
And as for more entries, it neevr said that only one entry is aloved, WG always states if only one is allowed

Hi,
I just saw the results and was surprised. I didn´t think about having a chance in this contest and now that: A special mention. I am honored but what does that really mean?
Please guys, dont tell me that you have made you the effort of mentioning me extra, but don´t give me the chance of testing your great looking game, that would not be fair.
But the main thing is: Congratulations to all winners, have fun in the Alpha as I had fun writing my Haikus! And perhaps Im still one of you and dont know, respectively dont believe it, we will see

Thanks for making me hopeful, but look at the thread with the written Haikus. A few of the persons (the winners) are green and I am a "normal" member.
One more Key wouldn't hurt WG would it?

Congratz to the winners^^
And to all the people waiting since 23rd February: You are NOT alone! TT.TT
(Btw: As it is for me, writing more than one haiku is against my pride

Actually, none of the winners are green (including myself and nejc right here in this thread for ease of checking).
We're going to have to wait for the Community Managers to handle this, guessing the contest results were posted at end of work day and the guys with power to change our status (different from the contest judges) had already left building or were too busy.
...this is kinda bad news for my IS-4 grind before WoT 0.7.3 patch

That sounds great
There is just one problem for me left: Im at...lets call it "holiday" until sunday, so if I get an invitation I cannot accept it and play
No Internet for the next few days, hoping Im green when Im back! This would make me one of the most happy Wargaming-Game-Players
Your problem with that IS-4: I have one, I could break up it somehow and give you one half...or the 195k experience on it...that doesn´t work this way unfortunately

To the winners I say congrats and good job.
To the judges I say why call it a haiku contest and put up instructions when you'll just disregard them?

Amen to that.
Some of the poems where not even near of 17 syllabes.
Some of the poets posted so many poems that there had to be atleast one good poem.
Another poem of mine made it up for a vote in the WoT contest but here I didn't even have a chance for an invite with just one entry.
The previous contest I talked about failed because ppl made new accounts to vote for their own poem unlike me.
This doesn't look much better.
My suggestion:
As there really ain't even so many real competitors in this contest give them all access including me.
We have all been waiting for these results over a week...

Ladies and Gentlemen!
First I would like to mention that I have just added everyone to Alpha. So, winners check your mail
Second: Every contest, especially the contest with hundreds of participants have those who is disappointed. I understand your frustration. However, as in any contest, being judged by a jury it is almost impossible to determine strict rules for choosing a winner. We chose those entries which had original, interesting image, which could be paradoxical, entries with unexpected ending. Winners are those who could express their story in short entry.
Regarding your multiply complaints "winners entries are not haikus at all"... We certainly could shorten the list of winners, because there were many entries which were obviously not a haiku in form. Many of winners submitted more than one entry as it was not forbidden and there were entries that could be called haiku. Moreover, the goal of the contest was to choose players, who want to fly in WoWp, not professional poets
that is why we decided to accept those whose works were corresponding the haiku idea: to express much in few words.
I apologize to everyone who had not passed through our selection and I hope you all will soon have the opportunity to test.
