Ladies and Gentlemen!
First I would like to mention that I have just added everyone to Alpha. So, winners check your mail
Second: Every contest, especially the contest with hundreds of participants have those who is disappointed. I understand your frustration. However, as in any contest, being judged by a jury it is almost impossible to determine strict rules for choosing a winner. We chose those entries which had original, interesting image, which could be paradoxical, entries with unexpected ending. Winners are those who could express their story in short entry.
Regarding your multiply complaints "winners entries are not haikus at all"... We certainly could shorten the list of winners, because there were many entries which were obviously not a haiku in form. Many of winners submitted more than one entry as it was not forbidden and there were entries that could be called haiku. Moreover, the goal of the contest was to choose players, who want to fly in WoWp, not professional poets
that is why we decided to accept those whose works were corresponding the haiku idea: to express much in few words.
I apologize to everyone who had not passed through our selection and I hope you all will soon have the opportunity to test.

Thanks James, and I hope that all of these complaints will at least help you in further contests. There wasn't really any rules to this contest which makes it even more confusing than just a simple poem. Hopefully there will be more rules/information given in the next contest so that further discomfort can be avoided. Thanks again and good luck to the rest of you who still have not yet been able to get in.

..... must add comment for James... There are many of us who are the member of this forum a long time and wait for approval a GAT application and any kind of contest to became new WOWP alpha players. It is a little frustrating when participate so many times and get anything - that does not diminish our desire to fly and be part of the game in this stage. For Devs. is hard to chose new alpha players in 3.300.000 members of this forum
Congrats to all winners.
Congrats to all winners.

I agree with Lolleroman half of the winners (if not all of them) clearly broke the rules , It was just a matter of who wrote more lines in his poem( will not be called a Haiku)
and about : "Some of the poems where not even near of 17 syllables." Most of them broke that rule which made their poems meaningful and easy . Pathetic work, Idiotic Judgment.( and I am not angry , That's just my opinion )
