Let's say I sell a plane for which I bought permanent Paint Schemes for Gold.

If I buy back the same plane will the permanent Paint Schemes previously bought for Gold be available?

Nope, the camo would need to be purchased again. Same with any emblems or nose art.  The "permanent" status means as long as the aircraft is in your garage. Once it's sold it's sold with everything on it. Emblems/camo etc are non refundable.

Sorry for any confusion. Please see the quote below:

I have the green paint job for my Ao 192 as permanent.  I sold this plane then repurchased it. The paint job was still available. I actually forgot this was also a recent change on World of Tanks.  If you purchase a paint permanently for a vehicle then the paint job will always be available..  Permanent is permanent and it will always be available.  This also applies for nose art and emblems that have been purchased permanently.

My bad.  Apologies for any confusion.

And why is that? I see it as unlocks, and they should stay unlocked even if the aircraft is sold. Players may see it as token of gratitude for spending some cash.  Sometimes one has to sacrifice aircraft in their hangar, because they dont have spare hangar places. If they have to purchase hangar place or repurchase paints it has the same unpleasant feel to it.

I don't understand, why is same error on WoWp like it was on WoT?   if you buy a permanent camo in WoT now, it is attached to the tank forever no matter you sell the tank, previously isn't; and now we found on WoWp that permanent camo is lost if you sell the plane.

Because it is not error, but intentional economy thingy. But they decided to back out under player pressure in WoT apparently (I did not know the camo was permanent there)  so the only error is if the same conceptual thing is not rolled out in all WG games.

I thought it remained on the aircraft indefinitely... o.o no matter if you bought/sold/scrapped/flew it...

In WoT if you sell the vehicle, you lose everything...for sure... even if you have bought them with gold.... I have that issue twice so far after I have sold vehicles...

Why WG to have 2 different policies in 2 similar projects (games) that even share gold (real money) between them?

It was recently changed and apparently works the same way in both games.
