I dislike the Spit1a,

I think a homeless person used it as a lavatory

The Nooberang is a far better all round tier 5

For me, get the A6M3 exp. Easy to fly once you master its 30mm guns... Its my most played premium plane,i find it really enjoyable...Get adrenaline rush as the first pilot skill...it will cooldown the 30s once you kill an enemy plus it will increase your accuracy for 10 seconds, helps you get on a killing spree...However is slow(is a Zero) and it will suffer at t6 MM,but it will wreck same and lower tier planes

A6M3 is amazing.

Il-2 mod is also a solid pick imo, as it is the one true midtier premium GA, and it has everything.

Id also nominate the Boomerang for UK lovers, cause it is a better crew trainer than the A6M3 but still plays similarly- though not the same.

Id say most turnfighters can best be found at tier 6 instead, such as the Airacobra, German Spitfire, etc. On tier 5 the best turnfighter for sure is the A6M3, but you gotta like the guns (i iove them).

The more BnZ type fighters might not be best for starters imo

Hey, I'm chatting with who I want! The bots ingame are mocking me! I will not stay passive while they are taunting!

Yep, that!  But there is a bug, they cannot be reported for being idle/bot or for insults. Not even for unfair behaviour when shooting me from 1km in 3km height from Yak9. We need to educate bots and sort out the rude types.

They're also very negative, like saying 'prepare for another loss' in team chat !

Yes I had that same experience for the 1st time as well.

The bots need some new chat

We need a "report bot" function as well for all those times I got rammed by my bot team mates.

Tier 5 premiums, there is  only 1 that strike me as any good the Boomerang or that French heavy fighter with the 20mm rear turret

The bots need to shut up. It's cringey as fk.

Indeed they should. The "conversation" during the opening sequence messes up the actual greetings of the people, but much more serious are their messages during the battle - lots of times I was distracted with their "messages" during the intense moments of the battle.

Choose SE100 French heavy - it is deadly on V tier with 4x20mm guns and a rear turret that can shoot on high distance.

chikken

The Airacobra? You must be flying a different one to me mate. My Airacobra premium has a cannon that fires like once every 10 seconds. It's utterly useless for any deflection kills (which most new players are going to rely on)

The Airacobra is probably the premium I fly the least and the one I struggle to make work the most.

Totally agree with new player choice of solid turnfighter over energy fighter though. I love BnZ but without the discipline of experience it's too easy to get sucked into a turnfight you won't win. Still happens to me, you know all they need is just one more burst...and you turn after them rather than leave and....

SE100 : don't forget to use rear turret. it's hillarious when you fail to kill in one pass, or fly through a knot of fighters, when escaping to switch to rear turret - it has stupid tendency to make you level flight, but even so, finish them off at 700m ... I can almost hear the swearing even from that distance.

Definitely go-to plane for those pesky turet kill missions.

Boomerang: Good guns and maneuvrability, but, if Spit I or Zero or Yak-1 or Ki-43 or even some of IV tiers look your way, there is not much you can do. You will not outturn them nor outrun them.  So it is good plane to practise "inconspicuousness" - that is, how to make the other guys target someone else than you. You don't want to be noticed. Make your targets dead, not damaged, don't be shy to ask for help when pursued, cowardly hide behind friendly planes, whatever works to not be their focus, THEN come back and punch them hard on the nose.

I'm using joystick, so when in turret I use the joystick to aim/shoot and A and D keys to swerve left and right. You can probably also tilt up and down (haven't tried).

If one is looking for a fun plane though, the light French is a solid choice. It's widely underappreciated mostly because of relatively low firepower (single 20mm cannon and 2 machine guns), but it has two things going for it. One is a reargunner - granted, rather weak and with strange field of vision, but he's there, and looks hilarious. Second, and most important, is the fact that it's an awesomely agile plane. It's a real competitor for Spitfires and Zeros, and a pleasant plane to fly. Keep in mind the low firepower and the fact the engine is rather meh (limiting you to low/mid altitude engagements), and surprise the Spitfire crowd with your agility.

Last but not least - just look at it. It's hilariously awesome :)
