Look into this plane plz. Flying this plane you have terrible problems to stay in green speed band. Base speed says, that it should be one of the fastest planes in T6. It isnt.

Warplanes.today says it's got the highest winrate on T6 for any timeframe (1w/2w/all). Yes - there are lies, damned lies and statistics... ;)

The P-47B might not be the fastest (didn't check), but it must be getting very close...

...it's also worth to mention that some really serious gun-wielding (spray&pray) is possible with it.

Personally I like the Friedrich (109F) most but the P-47B is also always worth a battle or two.

Really not the fastest? Maybe when you try to chase Yak-1M at sea level.

I havent that much games with this plane, than you. But < 2 average kills, average dmg < 600. Best on T6? Come on! I just think you mix up a good plane with a good flight partner. :teethhappy: I dont like it, cause the engine isnt good and the plane is too slow for BnZ.

The FW 57 has an average win rate of 50%. I fly it on 72% (once i was a beginner) and on my not premium test account at 87%. This is the best plane for its tier in game. Why has the Thunderbolt such a winrate? Cause no beginners fly it. Got this?

OMG Rammjaeger!!!

I got it stock but I am sure I am going to like it.

Finally a plane I don't need an aiming skill for.

Just spray them and ramm them.

No sarcasm. Great fun.

Almost as much fun as IL-20 in which I have to wait for them to crash into me.

With Jug I may chase them and ramm them.

Leirix complaining over another good plane. You just can't make this sh*t up. :teethhappy:

Don't think I've ever seen him complain about a bad plane.

So take note, people, if Leirix doesn't like it that means it's good...

My stats with P47B are:

64% of victories, 137 battles with 313 kills, 2,28 kills x battle.

I'm not a super pilot,i think medium,and P47 is a flying machine gun.

More a flying shotgun, IMHO.

Honestly, i liked both Thunderbolts: more agile than expected (ok, is not a turnfighter, but is not even a flatiron), good armament, HUGE, turbocharged engine.

In engineering, could exist not-optimal solution, but ridiculus ones... never
In most cases, the right question is not "why?".  In most cases, the right question is "why not?".
A ridiculous decision is the madness of a moment. A ridiculous person is the madness of a life.

Good plane. Versatile, durable and well armed. However I got outperformed by an A26 B at 2200 m. so its not the most agile plane... Or the A26 B is out of balance, which is impossible as WG always get these things right

At 2200 metres you are quite a bit above its optimal altitude (1500), its no surprise it was a little sluggish. A109 would be fine at that hight.
