On a certain page where you can look at various 3d models there is a list of new Japan army branch:

II Ki-10

III Ki-27

IV Ki-43

V Ki-43-2

VI Ki-61

VII Ki-84

VIII Ki-94-II

IX Ki-162

X Ki-162-3

 

Top 2 tiers look like a hardcore recycling, since it seems that that Ki162 is just a license produces He 162, which looking at a time frame should be like tier VIII in German tree.

 

No images linked, since half of these planes planes look really similar with radial engine.

The Japanese Tech Tree needed a little Love anyways.

Seems to me a very good choice of planes.

However, the higher tiers need some adjustments.

Still, can't wait to get a Ki-61!

What I think: II and III are fine

Shame that Ki-43-Ic is already china premium, I don't see enough variables to do it two more planes, particulary tier IV (hopefully they are not going to make it just -Ia with 2x7,7mm)

I was hoping they could squeeze in Ki-44 somewhere. Could be adjusted for tier V or VI I think. ki-61 is said to be on par with Me-109E so it would fit tier V nicely.

I am curious what they think off for tier VIII

Not sure, what to think about the Ki-61's placement.

 

The Ki-84 could have been stretched across T6-T7 easily or they could have added the Ki-44 on T6, throwing a Kawasaki design in there seems pretty dumb.

 

They just keep making odd choices like that.

I more wonder about their flight characteristics - another line of Zeroes all along? Another power creep as in case of Thunderbolts? Japan fast and lightly armed La-11 alike line?

If the Ki-43 are like the premium variant, they'll be similar to the Zeros.

 

Everything after seems like it would be more like the MiGs.

New planes are nice but the potential for real change is relatively small.
New game modes would create more additional excitement I suppose.

I have it. It's a slightly less manouverable A6M2 with bigger guns. Quite nice, if you like the Zero.

they replaced many planes on every tech...more likely thiss than adding...my opinion

They update models every version.

after 2 years of absence i guess they modified the tech tree and the planes since 1.6....but the bugs, glitch, server problems, lag and match making are stil there and once in a lifetime i would love to see someone who puts in first place game optimization and stop updating the game with new content to attract people, no WG, you attract players by optimizing the game with the present content that is in my opinion a lot so far....more content more bugs, just stop for some months concentrate on content and start optimize the game and people will be happy trust me!

The only thing is that people who optimize the game are different from people producing new content, so they can work in parallel.
