Our final campaign of 2016 is here and will carry on into the New Year. There are two grand prizes on offer depending on the difficulty you choose, but the crème de la crème is the Shooting Star!

I am so tired of rigging.

We have all seen it:

People writing cryptical messages and then flying arround the map and joining at a location on the map where some of the players let enemies shoot them down with rockets.

Human players flying arround the edge of the map until the rest of their team are dead in order for the enemy to have enough superiority points for a mission

If its ok to rig, then at least give a timeframe for it, so the rest of us dont have to look at them ruining the game.

The result is that the missions gets harder and the rest of us have to pay to get the prizes.

Has anyone bought the certificates for this or for the previous event? Do you also get the rewards from each mission? Or you just skip it.

So you think same as me - buy certs for a price of for example Chinese tier VIII premim, get US tier VIII premim, German tier II premim and all other stuff including gold, tolens, barracks bunks and premim days?

Clear cache/Skasuj cache: cmd /K del /Q /F /S "%TEMP%\wargaming.net\wowp\cache"

And everything else/i wszystko inne: cmd /K del /Q /F /S "%APPDATA%\Wargaming.net\World of Warplanes"

Kinda yes. Also every mission that I will complete it would be plus 550 gold (If I buy the 16 certificates package), so it would be a fun stressless event after all these years of suffering in WG games. :D

No "Get Ace and Destroyer in one battle" this time. Excellent! Well, there's still "Earn two of the service awards (Ace, Destroyer, or Thunder) in one battle.", but this time it includes Thunder, and we don't have to win and survive and only have to do the whole thing once, which is much, much better.

All in all, these missions seem to be easier than those for the VB 10.

Only that there is a remark, that accuracy should be against planes. I don't know whether suddenly two accuracies appeared in game - against planes and against GTs, or they just typed it that way to fool people who bumped the accuracy on GTs.

Or just a ground target. It's one of the easiest missions, as the hardest part of it is getting an Ace.

That's interesting. Because that would either mean that shooting a ground target would disqualify you from getting the mission done (which can't be the case, since you are supposed to get the mission done by getting Destroyer), or that they implemented a system to detect which shots were aimed at aircraft and which were aimed at ground targets. That's not a trivial task to do, and somehow I doubt the developers are capable of doing this properly. Does anyone like to test this (I'm not at that mission yet)?

i play all 3 WG games - warships, warplanes and tanks.

mostly warplanes because they give prem time for free and a lot of free exp (that goes straight into tank crews), not because they are so good

and I compared holiday specials in 3 games

Warships: just play a modest amount of time and you get graff spee, tier 6 i think cruiser

Tanks: play a repeatable set of missions - geta  daily win on each tank, get some easy daily missions (like kill 3 is the hardest of them) do some not really demanding weekly missions. As a reward you get female tankers which are quite a rarity and personally I value them more than another premium tank

Warplanes: set of demanding and frustrating missions. Why I call them demanding? I think I am mediocre player but my mistake is not keeping a sealclubber planes for t4 and t5 to do such missions there.

And for planes I have (t8-t10 and premium planes) most of the missions are set up slightly above what I can repeatedly do. They also demand to go for specific task, not always in line in what I would consider normal play.

As an effect  those missions are frustrating, with much more often beign "almost done" the done and extremely time consuming, rewuiring to over and over focus on reaching some artificial goal instead of just playing.

It would helpif the secondary tasks were being able to be completed simultaneously (in 1 battle you can finish all tasks that have primary level comlpeted)

Or if you go back to the token system

or just allow to but each task for tokens that you already have, not for cash in premium shop

as it is now I don't consider this campaign as a incentive to play planes more. I feel like I am shaken down in a money grab move and it makes me bored and tired with planes. Even  if I decide to try and finish the missions, I doubt I will find it funny and I will most likely take a break from playng this game after and will convince my OCD that World of Warplanes is not the game I need to have all the planes so there is no point to buy any premium that I don't already have

remove flights from the game

This. I've had too many instances where i could make progress on one (or even many) mission(s) while having completely different one active.
