At least 8 out of 10 games T-4 or higher I get jumped by 4 opponents or more. Asking for help (F7) is completely useless.
Going high, going low, stay in the back, go in first, TnB, BnZ... it's all over in under a minute after 'enemy contact'.

I think I give up

None care of F7, stay back and wait till fight start.
Keep calm and play Capoeira!

Just... wait until half of your team or theirs is destroyed?
Untill the bots have killed eachother?

Your first mission is to survive... Stay behind and attack only airplanes out of reds main group (except bombers).

Try to stay within green main group. If there is no group, don't go alone. Stay in green AA zone and watch your radar - try to help your teammates.

Thank you. Why not GA's?

Because of their ridiculous amount of hit points and, oftentimes - rear gunner to back them up. Not only will it take a long time to take one ground attacker down, but also hinder hp of the one, who is attacking. Hp that could've been a leverage against other opponents.

Altitude is probably the most important thing in this game. The team that starts chasing low altitude airplanes at the start gets a few easy kills, but usually looses the game. Chasing daily mission is no excuse. There are few exceptions, but those are just that - exceptions.

The team with better altitude and nice group will usually win. Group should be formed with higher tier HFs at the front and lower tier fighters at the end. Do not rush into the battle.

Got it. Thank you all for the tips
I know altitude is king, but what altitude is still  wise?
At the start of the game do you need to climb higher than what is the optimal altitude for the plane you're flying and go where your altimeter turns red or is it better to stay in the 'green range' and keep an eye for the HF's?

Forget that 'optimum altitude' thingy. Best altitude is always as high as possible where your aircraft is still maneuvering well.

The only situation where the 'green zone' can provide an advantage is when you are in a dogfight, circling with your opponent....

No Alex, it is not stupid. It is very good mid-time decision. Actually bots save the game for now.

As you can read in this thread, rules are stay behind the first line of contact and climb as high as you can. It really works, most of the time.

BUT can you imagine what happens when all players on both sides stick to those rules?  Yes, right, you get two teams circling/climbing in their respective corners of the map, nobody hurrying to battle. So bots come to save us all, they climb too, but in general direction of the enemy, so in a while contact is made and then decisions are tougher. Climb some more, or dive to the bots rescue? No easy solutions. Thanks for all the bots we can still play the game.

This game is really fast paced.

1. Stay with you teammates. Don't stay behind, don't be the first one to attack multiple enemies.

2. At the beginning of the battle use your boost to climb as high as possible.

3. Kill the highest enemies first then proceed down.

4. If your target is diving toward his team don't follow him.

5. If you attack upwards watch for other enemies who could target you.

6. Don't dive in the middle of an enemy blob. Try to take out those separated from the group. You may also bait them so they stall.

7. Try to make early kills even if they are "only" bots. Not only you reduce enemy team but also free hands of your teammates.

8. Aim for planes with low hp. One enemy down is one step closer to the victory. Don't listen to whiners who "claim the kill".

You have in game option to save replays. So save few and post it on forum. Once we see what mistakes you are making, we can give you good advise.

Asking for help isn't useless. If there are free bots nearby, they will come to help you.

And I would add, if there are no free bots or players nearby, you probably shouldn't have been there.

But I feel for you, similar thing happens to me in WoT - I am always the bottom tier, always. (no I am not, I went so far as to write down tierning of my battles in the form of 0,-1,+1,-2,+2 and I got to admit the sum is close to zero, if I ignore the LT battles. - but it definitely feels that way)

I don´t play WOT two years ago by the MM ±2. Now in WoWs I play only DD because with this ship tipe is nice the ±2.

But this is other history....
