I have tried out both the 4 20mm guns as well as the 20mm/30mm combination. For me personally i prefer the 4x20mm because they give me better range performance and and they seem to be a bit more precise. At least thats my experience. But i admit that i still have some problems with most 30mm guns so far (like on the 109 z). I dont hit that much with theese guns.

Most people in game seem to use the 20mm/30mm combination. What are your experiences?

Well, I also preferred only 20mm without MGs. But I also have the same issue with 30+mm cannons - can´t hit a barn door from inside.. Anyone has any tips or advide for it? Guess I also have to learn it by experience, but with current packet lost meta (routinely when I am behind someone´s tail) it is quite frustrating.. Especially when I see those human Ta 152s kicking other asses.

Most people are bots flying fully equipped planes.

4x20 mm comparing to other configurations give a bit agility and same bullet velocities.

And 190D is a crap, sad that there are 2 planes to develop from it.

4x20, as both cannons have the same shooting range, and it gives the plane a bit more agility

aim a little further ahead of the aiming marker, the heavier rounds seem to have a slower velocity and I find this helps compensate. The aiming marker seems to be accurate for mgs in my experience, with little adjustments needed as you move up the range/size of cannon.
