A small and simple mod that lets you distinguish AI bots from players by putting an '*' in front of bots names.
 

This mod only supports English localization.

 

To install, unzip the contents in to your World of Warplanes install folder's ...\res_mods\

 

Disclaimer: Should anyone at some point make modpacks for WoWp it is allowed to include this in it as long as there is a mention.

SInce I can distinguish flies from cutlets myself not bad, this mod will be helpful anyway, because some people choose nice and capitalised names too Thanks for the mod.

Yeah, works fine. It even shows my pilot and rear gunner as bots... well, marked with * haha.

 

 

the pilot files. but was with all WG titles, you need the whole lot of text files in a mod directory for it to work.

Yeah, there's something up with upload to this forum. Can't get it to work, even it is uploaded. Hope it sorts itself out soon.

Yes, the NA download link works for all.

tested on 2.0.2, need an update, some plane names are incorrect and missing :/

It was not a point on u, just to le others know it was not working, to avoid possible complain or questions like "is it working for?"

EDIT: Note, if there is any substantial update between the 22nd of January and 7th of February I am unable to update due to travel. Don't think it is highly likely, but still so you know. I'll update if needed late on the 7th of Feb.

Hi, just wanted to let everyone know that the 2.0.3.0 version of this mod works (kinda, see below) in the new 2.0.4.0 patch of the game. Just install it as described above into the new 2.0.4.0 res_mods folder.

 

Bots will be highlighted with * next to their names. However - some button texts in the hangar UI and the names of the new maps will display texts like LOBBY_EVENT_NAME_WESTWALL, instead of "Operation Westwall".

 

This fix seems to work to remedy the above though, go into the LC_MESSAGES folder and delete all files that does not have the word "pilots" in it, i.e. keep the files you see in the picture and delete the others:

lol, can't wait eh? (also, deleting all the other files may cause crashes and unwanted client behaviour at times so not recommended as stop-gap measures)
