Thank you for the feedback you have shared with us so far concerning Operation Westwall's new game modes. As you already did for Invasion mode, we would like for you to answer this brief survey about Attrition Warfare mode. In addition to the poll, please answer to these questions as well:

Unfortunately, after first week with that so bad Invasion mode, i only played a few games in this new mode because i had no objective, being unable to select missions for it since i didnt finished the first 5 or so from the first week. Not that i have any hope to complete all 15 with secondaries anyway, and since its so failed event, im not playing at all on weekends, because we are forced to play this event and not allowed to play regular conquest and complete dailies ( i may give it a try for the 400 gold mission though ). Personally i dont really care what modes are, as long there are bots present in the games, and most human players are clueless anyway. THe only reason im still playing it every now and then is to farm goodies usable in WoT ( token, premium time, gold ). Its long since i lost all hope that this game can be turned into anything at least slightly fun. So as long as you stilll offer those things, i will still play , not caring much what the mode is. If its not that bad as Invasion , ofc.

I see WG learnt from previous questionnaire, questions are closed now, and are to justify introducing new mode.

1 - more than 10

2 - different.

3 - Attrition is more interesting than Invasion, because it is not hard to be.

4 - There is no teamplay, and as such - something not present can't be important.

5 - They are plain noise.

6 - Too fast. Remove multiplier.

7 - Sometimes yes, sometimes not.

8 - Whatever, depending on team.

9 - One the most effective in WoWP - type you design WoWP for, currently fast and armed TnB planes. Altitude became not so important.

10 - Weak armed ones.

11 - Remove multipliers, make circles giving other bonuses. There are issues with respawn - time varies between few and 30few seconds.

well...all planes are as good as one who flies them so... anyway i have enjoyed playing somewhat.the mod is not that bad but the missions section is awfull plus support for many problems(bugs,crashes,server loss,broken missions...etc) was very poore and unsatisfied. to make long story short...we deserve better!!!

Your customer support is a joke. Here is a full thread of people that have problems with the missions, because of technical issues on your end: http://forum.worldof...sion-15-broken/

 

I had to buy certificates to go on with my mission even though everything was unlocked until the attrition part. I also provided proof and sent you screenshots.

 

and your assistants don't even acknowledge the issues and try to tell me I'm wrong. I have never had to do with such a pathetic support that tries to fool it's paying customers.

or just a variation of this poor Conquest mode ?

Cant be doing with the rubbish poll set up to encourage binary answers that don't give a real reflection on peoples viewpoints.

 

This mode is better than Invasion and roughly equal to Conquest in enjoyment terms, needs a bit more balancing. I don't get much enjoyment from any mode, a handful of games is enough before I move onto other activities.

 

Total bullshit that the missions aren't available without completing last weeks ones.

11. Every game should have at least one stronghold point, better two. Otherwise GAA and bombers have very limited use. Actually, it is only the stronghold that provides these aircraft types some sort of balancing.

At tier X GAA can solely capture a garrison - bombs on one hard target, rockets on 2nd, 2 weak targets for guns, rear gunner takes down one Spitfire, and done.

GAA aren't useless, their value varies through tiers, depending on how fast they can capture targets.

Second weekend with attrition. Played one mission to see how it is. Could not progress on the event, could not progress on daily missions and the game experience was bad. Played another just to see if it repeats and it did. Logged out and went away.

Third weekend with second invasion didn't even log in. Same reasons.

Least Effective: Bombers

Suggestion: increase the starting points, so you have a chance of getting a decent score... Games are a little too fast

11 I noticed that it is difficult to tip the tide once one team dominates (x4 vs. x1..). I don't know how to counter that, perhaps limit the multipliers to x3, or have caps become neutral again after a few minutes.

 

 

 

Also players don't  understand the game mode. They ignore garrisons because they are not so important in the normal game, and try to cap more when we are already at an advantage, instead of defending. I hate it when I see valuable top tier planes wonder off all alone into enemy airfields and getting ripped apart.

Can't complete poll, as in question 3 there is no option for both modes are equally bad

 

 

oh and btw extra modes should be optional, not forced on you

Work more at the MM! Is unfair that bots to win battles! I can put screenshots. Better bots, unequal planes capacities and pilots skils also. It is an issue even if you win  or loose. You can judge this easy in the results and battles pannel. Srry for bad english. Not a native.

i do not agree. i bet i can win with another human bomber, while you fight with fighters. depends on your playstyle

Attrition is better than Conquest and should replace it. Or should also become a standard mode like Conquest.

 

Pro Attrition:

+ The game model is simpler than Conquest. No superiority. No last minutes with no re-spawn

+ A kill is a kill and equals 1 step closer to a win for your team. In conquest a kill outside the caps has in general no real meaning (isn't complet true)

+ You can shoot down a plane  anywhere on the map and it will still help your team

+ No more crashing your plane to have that last second re-spawn. 

+ Shooting planes in the main goal to win. Capping is the secondary but still very important.
