Maybe WG fears to many people will be switched in any time to planes getting free Xp so Tanks will have less players on servers?

Yeah, now he has to go through every last one and re-grind to set them up again with a nightmare new scheme. Might be time to take a sabbatical from your job Killtech.

You made the statement he has no choice in the matter, he has a choice. I pointed out such a choice and you have taken that in a way that is antagonizing. Then further taken this antagonizing approach with:

http://forum.worldof...84#entry561484: I refer you to the forum rules - Including not advertising other products. Something I didn't enforce due to what I already guessed would be your next response and approach. I am somewhat saddened to see my prediction came true.

The choice of planes you enjoy are always personal and subjective. In all announcements people are encouraged to specialize planes they enjoy and those which are iconic. Further counter to your original statement. It is not damning of the product, it demonstrates the diversity of the product.

A person can like or hate the product all they like. But I will always be there to ensure misinformation is not spread and provided with an alternative view and sharing the intentions of people who make decisions along with my own personal opinion.

...but Eekeboo, if he wants to fully set them up again, he will have to grind, won't he? If he doesn't of course he won't have to. Unless you think I was claiming that you had a gun to his head. That you are still pursuing this is off the chain.

I didn't advertise a product. I do not work for the company in question nor receive compensation for talking about them. No materials or links were provided, nor prices or offers. I recommended a game when asked and drew comparisons for fair use critique. That's not a breach of the rules, it's not advertising to use examples from other games of what WoWP could be doing better.

Diversity of the product? Have you tried dropping that line in the other threads? Whether you're right or wrong, pinning this on me whilst the rest of the forum lays down the hate is far more questionable than anything I did here before you started riding me.

Please educate me further on my 'misinformation' if you wish to keep this going? Ie. What was wrong in what I said above.

That is the key difference to what is being said now to before. He can choose to do so, he can want to do so, he is not being forced to do so.

The advertise a product was the part of Heliborne, I like the product and I think they have done a fantastic job. But the forum rules are what they are. But I didn't enforce them as a point of ensuring you don't think I'm "censoring" and for full clarification of those thinking I have "censored" you.

I'm not pinning anything on you, I merely pointed out a person doesn't HAVE to do anything, they can choose. You have taken this as a personal attack while i go through the forums. Right now the feedback threads have calmed so I am able to dedicate more time to being in touch with developers and work with who I can to get explanations and information out there. I haven't needed to "drop that line", it's a personal opinion. I enjoy the patch, I like what it brings and the opportunities and possibilities it opens. But I see and understand where players are coming from. I have friends who stream online who have stopped playing because of it. I do not blame them, it's personal opinion. You like a game or you don't, I'm not going to force you to like it, just like i'm not going to force you not to like it, like saying you "have" to do something when you don't.

Eek, do I need to explain to you the difference between 'have' as a conditional verb in the general sense or as an imperative/order.

ie. Given the context and nature of the game for a collector, 'he will have to perform actions to re-equip his planes if plays them equipped (most people do and will still opt to in some fashion)' *In English you don't usually inject the contextual conditional requirements into informal speech or writing, I'm sure this is the same in other languages as well* OR he will HAVE to do it or else some punishment, loss of person resources etc.

I'm well aware he has a choice what to with his time in game or elsewhere, he's a sentient adult. This is absurd.

You've done just as much to advertise Heliborne there as I have, you just didn't go as far as using it as comparative tool with the WG approach. It's not a breach of any rules, regardless of how liberal, merciful or relaxed you may be. I haven't advertised anything, by the very definition of the word both in general and in the legal sense. I'm not holding you up as a hypocrite, just making it clear that it's NOT ADVERTISING.

I have no issue with you censoring me, do what you have to if you must, I'm baffled you're still going on with this to a point of absurdity. There are people proposing legal action ripping the WG team a new proverbial, and you want to keep talking about the word 'have', regardless of full breakdown of the position. Let it go man.

Well I can say congratulations. It's always a nice feeling to have all those choices at your disposal! But worry not, your journey in game will not end here:hiding: <<< These are your words Eekeboo and also 'pretty self expressive' - everybody assumed when you wrote them that Killtech would still have a choice whether he continues his 'journey' or not. That it is phrased in the form of a loose imperative that 'it': 'will not end here', we intuitively understand that's entirely up to him. It was a light-hearted comment as you intended Eek.

This needs to stop. I'm guessing you've had one hell of a day, and you've been trapped between a rock and hard place negating the fallout on the forum pages. For what it's worth, I genuinely don't envy you your position today, you've had a lot going on.....and it's Friday. I have also been pretty cranky, so regardless of whether it's necessary in the strict sense, I apologize for continuing this conversation with you on a day when you had so much s##t to deal with. I am sorry Eekeboo, I should have walked away and let it cool down.

However, surely you must understand this is out of hand over nothing. I get it, one hell of a day, but this isn't the best way to go about things in general...and I think you know that too.

I wish you the best of luck with this Eek, I've said this before and I'll say it again, regardless of what's going on with the game, you're generally a stand up guy, and, you probably don't remember, the first to send me a polite message after kicking my arse on my second day of playing. I thought that was great. I hope we can end on that, and drop today's silliness.

Regards,

Fra.....me. My names up there! ^^^

You have nothing to apologize for, like I've said, it's not a company line, this is my personal belief. Frustration, anger and disappointment are good to say, not because they happen. But because it means a person cares about something. It is nice to see people care about WoWP and for better or worse, I made a choice to put myself in this position in an attempt to communicate my own and others passion as much as I can.

I am on the defensive today as is expected, ensuring i choose words very carefully across the board. Hence why I'm also having to pick at certain words and be very intuitive on what I react to and when. You may perceive this as a person attack, it is/was not and was never intended to be that way. I apologise if you have been given that unintended impression. I will always give the other perspective, it's what I was taught to do and it's how I think.

So there's no harm done here, and why I have also been relaxed on the forum rule enforcement too with emotions as highly fueled as they are right now for many members.

So worry not, I hope you have a wonderful weekend with plenty of joy and relaxation!

I remember a lot, I've been on the whooping side of things, unfortunately for some my blunt attitude to explaining things can come across as aggression, when I feel honest up front words are better than diplomatic dance of words leading to confusion.

Well, I have a new hard-drive fitted as of today (hence extra crankiness)...keep me posted when the fixes come (I don't want to damage another one with hard-shutdowns) and I'll try to find you so I can take another [edited]-whooping from you! ;-)

I wish you an awesome weekend too, hope you get some time off to decompress.

Just a slightly unrelated note, may I suggest you get a programme called defraggler? it's a free programme that has a bunch of options to help you look after your hard drives but also gives you health stats of them too and a few other features that might keep you safe in future!

Yeah I run all that monthly, always have done since getting into higher-end PC gaming, I invested over **** in this set up and another *** today for hard-drive and other upgrade. I'm not a rich man, so I don't treat this kit lightly.

I scan, repair, defrag, clean out, re-paste heatsinks......but nothing fixed the damage done during the time of the Warplanes Crashes. Every time the client went down and I had to take drastic action, things just kept getting worse till it utterly died. I won't press the issue as it's circumstantial - but PC was 100% before and only degraded over that period. It may be that the hard-drive already had some 'weakness' that the crashes made worse....it doesn't matter. Either way, I get burned, I fear fire. You understand?

I'd love to get back in the game again to fly, whether it's 1.9 rollback, 2.0 funkiness 3.0 whatever...but the crashes and freezes I will not deal with. I hope you can understand that.

If this could be read by WG official.

Consider this proposal please.

Set the date when player has "specialised" his plane as the first day from which game will count for this plane as its birthday.

Planes specialisation is great thing and  very motivating, hands down, still, over time people will get tired of one plane, even if it is  most beloved and brought trough specialization on its maximum, people will want more, different, and eventualy to improve their other planes to.. And over time players will again  have more and more specialised planes until specialisation became something normal.

Plane specialisation is great thing and I absolutely support it..

Now tune your game just as we tune our planes and add that the date when some plane was specialised by the player becames its first date from which game will count as this planes "birthday" and apply the anniversary approach on to it as before.

Calibrate and tune it even further please and you will be surprised by the result.

I actually know your feelings, it was the reason I had to change my last hdd a long time ago. But putting games like WoT and other HDD loading intensive games probably didn't help. Defraggler at least allows me to keep an eye on re-occurring errors now and take action. I definitely understand it. I suggest that you definitely put this in feedback, it's not just quality of game affecting but when it's hardware affecting possibly it's definitely something you should point out. I know it's difficult to prove but it's at least something that may be investigated in future, especially if enough people have that problem.

Put it in bugs if you could please. It would fall under the crashing etc. Thank-you!
