Take a look for an in-depth explanation of the new progression system in World of Warplanes.

The greatest part of the video shows ground attack planes….dogfighting is still dead and burried since 2.0.

Some  cosmetic changes added.

We are looking forward not to play it.

We wait.

I would have loved this progression tree in 1.9. In 2.x i just say "Watch your back, newcomers!" :playing:

Lets wait and see tomorrow, am in the same boat as you with this for the lost slots in the low tiers, but will keep playing, as it's a great XP maker for WoT.  On the whole, the game is getting better, and hopefully, it will continue that way.

They will be in your depot. There will be more than 3 slots once you make your plane specialist.

Wargaming,

For f**k sake, remove the "victorious" conditions on both the f**king Specialist requirements for aircraft and for Daily Missions. Why the hell should i be punished and my progression not count if my team is beyond [edited]stupid? Why should i be punished because in one battle or another the bots you coded failed miserably and i lose the battle? I had battles where i pulled winged legend out of my [edited], and still lost because of muppets or failed bots. And then that performance doesn't [edited]count towards my "progression" (which we know is bullshit but hey, you guys want to screw more time and money out of the already severely depleted WoWp playerbase). So, show us a bit of respect and REMOVE the VICTORIOUS condition from SPecialization from aicraft and remove the "THE RESULTS COUNT ONLY IF YOU WIN" from the daily missions. Then sit back and watch this plane crash to the [edited]ground and burn in a horrible inferno. But, before we crash and die horribly, you can at least give us one of those tiny neck pillows.

Onlyway we dutch people get compensation is if we file a collective lawsuit.

But....

After doing some research, this lawsuit would end in a cease and desist order for WG in europe.

I do not think this is the wisest course of action, as it results into major collective butthurt in the all of europe.

Again, I base this, on the terms and conditions being unlawful in the kingdom of Netherlands, and the company not being fully transperent to the common citizen, and failure to provide financial data to the Dutch CBS.

This is also a thing;

"For security reasons, please do not provide your personal data or the personal data of a third party here because we might be unable to protect such data in accordance with the Wargaming Privacy Policy."

A fully functional forum is supposed to have mods and/or macro's to uphold this.

But WG don't worry, I am waaaaaaaaaaaay to lazy to actually go trough with it, and way to high to find an "F" to give.

Something is wrong with an upgrade model when it is better to just not upgrade at all.

After factoring all the upgrades and their malus, I won't ever upgrade any plane, because the small increase in performance is not worth the loss of resistences and HP, more now that you don't have consumables to repair them.

That is my feedback. The system is not attactive enough to use it.

Upgrade means increase and benefits, not trading something better with worse performance in other parts.

Now, following on the "progression system". Removing consumable slots and equipment slots and placing them behind ANOHTER GRINDWALL is not good. In fact it is horrible.

I will tell you what I will do. I will spend all my 600+ tokens in premium time for the summer and I will go play world of tanks and world of warships.

Thanks for these months of gameplay, even with the poor optimization they were fun.

EDIT: WTF WERE YOU THINKING!! I have to complete a mission for every plane I want to get to specialist level and then I HAVE TO PAY 600k CREDITS TO GET IT AT TIER 6! and 1.000.000 CREDITS (That is one million) TO GET IT AT TIER 10!.

But, but ... is progress, tovarish, da?

Jokes aside; the point of this needlesly grindy new equipment system is calibration. As it looks now, it's pretty pointless to mount uncalibrated upgrades. So to get the plane into a decent state, you need to pour loads of playtime, effort and maybe even real money into the game. Really, it puts Koreans to shame.

Game was simple and fun even with bugs , i bought planes etc to support game  WTF is this crap that i gotta pay more credits and win just to make my plane better that i paid real money for in the first place . Seems like another WG money grab on top of a money grab, disgusted at the state of the game at moment.

Just met one of the forum guys in T8 game......he had the 'Specialist' logo over his plane in game, cost 90 tokens to skip the grind. The thing is....it made him stand out from the 'bots' and other human players like a sore thumb. Not good! It's like having a sign saying 'kick me' stuck to your back.

Heh, that's the other side of the 'specialist' coin :)

Every pimped plane will look like that, and since mission does itself, sooner or later all frequently used planes, mostly premiums, bot not only, will have such.

And it will be even easier to distinguish humans from bots.

All XVM-haters will have hard time. I wonder what plot twist will CM do to defend such approach in game.

This update is idiotic. I already played only from time to time but now there a reason more to put a tombstone on this game. Not only we get nerf on all upgrades (which costed work and credits), but we should even do a MISSION FOR EACH PLANE to unlock this "specialist" status and even PAY a shitload of credits to get it, in addition to all the grind. And even worse is the situation for PREMIUM planes. Yes, because all we idiots who supported this game by paying real money in the past buying premium planes now need to do this mission from scratch while the ones who buy a premium plane now will not (see the special offers of today) and of course now you have also added more pay to win in the form of materials and developed modules which can be bought from the store... So wg (lowercase is not an error) is saying another time "my customer, you are only a cash cow to squeeze until you are dry, and [edited]to solve the game issues, we are spending our resources in finding new ways to screw you more".
