I have to say the FW 190 A1. What a t*rd. Slow, turns like a GAA, lacks altitude. A candidate for sale, now that the 190 A5 is researched.

I'm quite fond of the Fw190's but indeed. Of the three the -A1 is the worst. It's stats claim it's got better turn than the others. But it for sure doesn't feel as responsive, it doesn't do altitude (none of them do really) and it's guns lack the power and reach the others have.

I have a lot of fun in the other two, but the -A5 might get get the nod as the most lovable. (don't know if it maybe gets better tiers?)

Ok so good planes are

Tier 1 Type 91 99% meaneverabilty remove the bombs and you have a good counter clubber, no one can match you in a dogfight

Teir 2 that XP31 or AR68 almost the same as tier 1 although I'm trying to get away from the AR68 as its too sealcubby

Tier 3 Wirraway or P.38 both are fun the heavy is a a high alt beast but turn likes a planet and the Wirraway because its a fighter/GAA

Tier 4 Ki or Fatnome both have excellent maneuverability and will always put a S**tfire in its place...

Tier 5 The French heavy and French weirdo fighter because they are both fun, mesmerizing and hilariously op when specced also mosyt people rarely see them and try to battle you unaware of their opness

Tier 6 this for me is a garbage Zone no really nice planes and a horrid tier, so either the XP55 or the tech tree Japanese tier 6 fighter

Tier 7 P51k and Tu2 heavy because they are both made for nice people

Tier 8 Again garbage Zone so it can only be the Vampire even though its boring been trying tosell it for ages but they wont let me!

Tier 9 Goblin or Banshee Because the Goblin is cute and egg shaped and the Banshee looks nicer than the paper plane that follows it, maybe 1 or two Ruskies,,but i haven't tried those so I'm  gonna say, probably garbage

Tier 10 F86A because its a Sabre and because its classy and of it course turns on a 6 pence

And that's it,

Spitfires = Nah to much same old same old and out of scale/wrong spinners and props only the tier 7 is accurate, but whats the point in going higher they just get lamer and lamer.

Messerschmidt =Yawnorama I agree with Zen I disliked this line and stopped at tier 6

Now we need more weird planes i want asymmetrical crazyness

Every thing else is just lameorama

Hey guys,

I had the most painful time piloting the soviet Mikoyan-Gurevich I-210 tier VI fighter. It is fairly fast and maneuverable, but the two tier V 20mm guns that overheat in 3 seconds and deliver as much damage as an arthritic mosquito drove me nuts. It took an eternity to down anything: I had simulated parkinson just pressing and releasing the trigger not to overheat the guns. Felt like playing maracas in Mexico. Meanwhile, of course, I was loosing any advantage my maneuverability was confering to me since I had to stick behind the enemy like a leach -until my hair grew all white, my teeth ended up in a glass during the night and my new artificial hip tormented me every day. That's how bloody older I felt every time I downed an enemy aircraft.

Its only saving grace is that it leads to the I-220. I sold the I-210 with a groan of relief so loud my wife thought I was browsing a site with naked people.

Levlos.

I'll try it out, maybe it's a bit better. I really tried to like the legendary FW190A1, but no, it didn't work out for me. Ragesold it after I researched the next tier.

So no one has something against the I-211? I hated the guts out of it and sell it immediately after I grind it to finish.

Poor maneuverability, poor speed/acceleration, easy to chew on it by any other planes and easily heating guns...

For me this one tops them all.

What about changing the MGs to 3 x 12,7mm UBS(S)?  With this one can kill almost any type of enemy planes both at low and high altitude.

I, personally, flew and tested I-211 at the training room today; Chosen are veterans on both teams ,7 kills ,inflicted 0-killing on myself. Skill level of the pilot is mere 2 now. without any enhancements, using ordinary ammo. Felt like i was flying Mig-3.  So, i´m thinking of keeping it by upgrading from time to time.

As to I-220, it´s MGs get quicikly overheated, need to know to put intervals between firings,so, it is in the hangar for a long time.

If 1-220 had option for 3x or 4 of 12,7mm guns, I would probably take this...

cheers,

I dunno, if I'm weird, but I do have the patience and resilience of an 8 year old kid, if I don't like a plane i just sell it, including premiums.

For a long time ive been sending in tickets asking if I can sell the Vampire and XP55 but WG keep saying they cant offer that on reward planes

both planes are excellent but I'm bored of them, as i have close to 50 hours on the Vamp and around 30 hours on the XP55 on various accounts...

Its a conspiracy

I'm sure of it

I cant make Swift work, never. In the back of my head I have a faint memory of it outmanouvering something, and even manage to hit anything before guns overheated in it, but I just cant reproduce that in any of my recent games. I want to specialize it before scrapping it, but I guess this and some jap planes will not ever be specialized, just silently be put at sleep.

I started out really hating the YAK 9 but have sort of grown fond of it for comedy reasons.

Aim in front of a plane by about 2 inches on the screen and you get so many overpowered shots in.

I more often than not get in the first couple of places in it even against higher tier pilots with their planes specced out.

I also think because I don't have the "wings" of a specialist I get overlooked which helps.

I've been wetting myself laughing in it much to my wingmates annoyance on discord.
