This topic is to allow players to provide questions for me to ask developers and I will attempt (No promises made) to see if I can get some answers. 

 

That being said, it is important questions are thought out, intelligent and of course have an answer. Please avoid the repetition of the same question and asking the same questions repeatedly in a different way. 

 

By putting a question here in no way guarantees an answer, but I will collect questions together and try to gather answers for those available and that are able to be answered. For instance, asking questions like "What's in the next patch" will not get an answer in too much detail due to the nature of changes and the desire to not provide too much information. 

 

EDIT: Please keep posts to questions. This is where you can post your question and I can work on getting what answer I can for you. Posting anything else other than a question detracts from this. Remain on topic (Forum Rules).

When planes anniversaries? What about promised compensation?

Is there any thought given to return of "hybrid" mouse control scheme?   IMHO this was best possible mouse control scheme ever (in WoWp).

Just as a refresher:

It was scheme where plane behaviour could be adjusted according to distance of mouse cursor from plane axis.  Eg. for small deviations it was as it is now - axis tries to align with the cursor, but for greated deviations it just moves in the direction of the cursor, while the deviation remains the same.  Aaaand you could adjust your own transition curve between both behaviours, simply wonderfull and worked miracles for me.

 

Now, for sustained turn I have to shuffle the mouse all the time.

 

Is there any chance that weapon group triggers would (maybe optionally) work as weapon group selectors ?   

I would like to have one weapon trigger (LMB)  and the possibility to select what weapon groups should be fired.  (my mouse doesn't have enough buttons to comfortably assign "fire group one" "fire group two" "fire all"   - so gun selectors would be placed on keyboard.

 

Is there any chance to add AI pilot for two seated planes?  It could be pretty dumb pilot, more like "clever autopilot" who would keep assigned direction or turn diameter and just try to avoid collisions whit buildings/mountains. It would kick-in when player would switch to back seat.   As it is now, using rear guns works as if the pilot really climbed to rear seat and left controls to its fate (or maybe he is stearing using just his heels? )  ...extremely cumbersome, on the verge of useless. Of course I am not talking about high level flying bombers, but about GAA and HF and/or low flying bombers.

 

We definitely need statistics and API back.

What changes have emerged as potential tweaks to the specialist System? eg not forcing ordinance on aircraft.

 

Will there be tweaks to the Specialist Mission requirements to make them plane specific not role specific i.e ground target sections destroyed in F-94D Starfire

Can we please have Attrition and Invasion in the Training room!?

 

When can I have my Brrrrrt back?

 

In Terms of new Content can we expect Line Extensions first I.E British Multirole line or New Nation eg Italy

What are the Devs Enjoying the most about the game themselves!!!????

Zeppelins, I want my own zeppelin. Hydrogen filled of course, for the amusement of other fliers.

Will there be an option to pick medipack and fire extinguisher in the future?

any plans to (re)introduce big fleets as ground targets like in the good old days?

no idea what the maps where called but each team had a fleet of battleships in their spawn.

how about (re)adding some maps with carrier groups, battleships etc?

I have this set up, personally i have fire all on LMB, WG1 on RMB, WG2 on one of the side buttons and free cam on the other. I dont use WG3 separate.

that option existed before, it was removed cuz it made ammo usless when you could protect agasint both fire and dead pilot.

now you have to choose, making ammo viable again.

Tank you for your explanation.

But the medipack +  fire extinguisher  have a cooldown.

Its not possible to use them constantly... 

It was possible to use both items previously under the same conditions. So i was wondering why it was changed,

1. Old Maps

I really miss the old Polar Map with the big glacier field and the ice canyons

and also the old Tropical Map.

 

Would be great to see them again. Should be possible to just stretch the water if the map is bigger needed.

 

2. Hangar Select

In Warships you can select multiple harbours. Why can't we keep the old great Hangars in that way??

 

3. Soundmixer

I want to set down the gun fire sound but raise the engine sound.   Gun fire is often too loud in the mix.   Let the Player decide what he wants !

 

4. Hangar still too slow.

It takes a lot of time to get the results from the last match on screen, Filter change, changing Pilot and everything else in the Hangar.  WOT and WARSHIPS are much quicker here when you have 200 vehicle.

Please fix this. We will have more matches then and a better match making.

That's not what he means, I think ... the idea is to first select the desired weapons group with a button or key and then fire the selected group with a designated fire button. I would really like that on my joystick, much better than 4 different buttons to fire your wg's.

Although this option currently does not exist in-game, you could in fact try to get a work-around on this with a toggle function (that you activate/disactivate by a certain hotkey such that it only works in battle). But yeah, upon reading it again: that's what he meant. Right now i don't think it is fully possible but i will think if theres a workaround on this

6. Token-Rollback when the event mission drops.   In the moment wargaming doen't know how tokens were invested.

When will we be able to specialize bombers without spending tokens ?

At the moment this is only possible with A26 and RB17 all the other bombers don't have enough firepower and HP to make the necessary number of kills.

Do critical hits only damage modules (additional to the normal damage) or do they also do more general damage ?

 

I'm asking because I'm falling in love with the japanese and the big guns they use. For them the normal choice would be to spec for crits intead of fire (big gun crit, small gun fire, right?)

But in this case I don't care about module damage, I just want to kill quickly.

i always thought critical damage is the one where you damage wings/tail that makes the enemy less maneuverable, set him on fire, kill pilot, shoot his engine... things like this
