Oh i recently came over an old but still very annoying bug:

If you are in a flight with a friend, it sometimes appears that you do not see the correct gamecounter, planes you shot down keep flying around with zero hitpoints until they respawn, you are not able to chat, and in the end of the battle if they say "defeat" you won it and if they say "victory" you lost.

 

Im not completely sure what causes this bug, but it seems it has something to do with the written chat in the waiting line before the battle starts.

I think that's also a well known and, unfortunately, old bug.

There is currently a consumables (not ammunition) half price sale available in the client.  However, the prices being charged are full price.  I've been stung for 2½ million credits buying consumables at full price that I thought were half price.

Its taking that long sometimes to load in for a battle, I'm either shot down , crashed or lost half my HP. Its not every game but is common.

This is apparently not a bug. If loading a battle takes too long, you should take a look at your HDD and/or your RAM workload.

Just a thought I had : if Plug were your family name, I hope your first name is not Halibut, or Burt. Because ...no, there are children around.

 

Back to the topic: I also had to wait about about 5 seconds after the end of the 30 seconds timer to start my game with my windows 7. Then, installed Windows 10: it took about 15 seconds after start to take control of the plane. Then, swapped my 2 GB of ram (shame, yes) with 8 GB, and it all goes smoothly now. When I have other memory-hungry applications running, it also takes longer to start.

 

Verdict: it is all about the RAM.(possibly: the game has to load the textures into the RAM to start: the less RAM, the more the game has to move stuff around to make room for it.).

 

More RAM, less wait.

Agreed.

Although the game is not optimized for modern hardware, it really runs smoothly on it.

Recently got a game PC with 16GB, i5-10400 and a GTX1600 and gone are all the bugs and problems with the queue and game start that I had on my old machine (except the quality bugs that plague all machines).

Cheers guys. Gonna have to at some point up the ram. It didn't click but that could be the problem as all the other WG stuff runs no problem.

Will that cure it? I have 16gb ram and usually it's still slow to load the first battle, after that it's generally ok bar the occasional queue bug.

To minimise (but not cure) the issue I do the following;

Boot up PC in advance of playing, let it run and complete any updates before launching the game, we want as little running in the background as possible. (Note; I regularly use Ccleaner to ensure I dont have a load of background rubbish running and wasting resources, but if you do this be careful with what you stop/delete).

Load the game, when you get to the hanger leave it for a couple of minutes to 'settle'.

For the first game, or two, select only T1 ac or T2-3 premiums. This minimises the silver losses you may incur if the game completely bugs out and you really struggle to get in.

DO NOT touch anything during the 'loading' phase until the countdown in the top right corner is visible, even looking at the player lists by pressing tab is liable to make it take longer or bug out.

Never alt+tab to another screen at any phase of the game other than when in the hanger (when in full screen mode).

You may also improve things by dropping the graphics quality a little.

I also followed advice from a previous thread (or maybe even earlier in this one) and finally worked out how to run the game in Windoze-7 emulation.  No similar problems since then.

So i was going to play WOWP today as usual (account: GamerExclusive, server: Europe), and for the life of me i cant log in. I'm logging in with a Wargaming ID, and it prompts a website. I enter all of my info, click "confirm access", then the webpage returns me to WOWP, and i dont log in. Although this is probably just a server issue, I'm kinda worried i might not be able to log in for a long time.

Hello, cannot reach the consumer support today, I bought yesterday 30 days premium valid on the 3 games (World of Tank, World of Warchip and world of warplane) but only world of warplane was credited with the 30 days premium. but unable to contact customer service. What to do ? some help would be welcome, thanks in advance

Actually, I'd be quite interested to know the outcome of this problem.  It not be good if standard premium time did not apply to all three games.

Hi there, I've been getting a bug over the last week, it's happened three times so far. I would click to respawn into the battle, however, the camera would be placed onto a different plane in the battle. I can still control the camera and when I click to fire I can hear my guns shoot. This is really troublesome and annoying. I haven't got a screenshot of it, will remember to take one next time it happens.

If that happens, press 'enter' a couple of times.  That should focus you on your aircraft again.
