I will tell you a story about Pinokio...so there was wooden toy and he wishes to be a real boy, but in WoWp story never ends with real boy.

What i mean, for me Pinokios are real players who playing like bots, ramming, run in middle, defend edge of the map...etc.

I just played with couple Pinokios, i'm not offending and it's not "naming and shaming" but if you allow i will naming. I understand when I'm in light and some heavy go on me to ram me, that is ok, but the same tier light on light ramming I don't understand.

Sometimes I did ram but that is more "ram" with engine, when I speed up next to the incoming plane, and there is medal for that, but I can't understand direct crash.

Because they are smarter and when I try to evade they change course and crash on me.

Why are you defending them, are you pinokio too?

Legit tactics, mate. Taran. If you don't like the odds, evade.

If two players tries to evade in same moment on same way, they might collide. Also sometime it happens, there is just not enough time to evade. If other side have more agile plane, you are going to ram if you are smart. And bots are calculating odds to survive, and if it positive, they will go for ram.

There is no gentlemen deal not to ram. Nobody will evade ram, and give you his tail to shot at, just to be convenient to you. If you don't like to be rammed, don't go head on.

If you are the one to evade, the other guy use brake and gets in your tail, everyone with a little experience knows that. If you know the planes you know if you can win a head on. If you know you dont , you dont start it.

Anyone remembers the days when killed planes were solid? Oh "the good old days"...

Ok guys but if the same player rammes you 3 times in 1 battle, that is a bit too stupid, no fun in that, it is a game after all and it's called warplanes not kamikazes.

And i dont really know what version of Pinocchio is used in your coutry, but here in mine, Pinocchio story is used to scare children as to the fact that their nose will grow when they lie. I read it ages ago and i dont really remember it, but for sure i dont remember as fitting in this game players behaviour in any way.

No naming and shaming.

Otherwise for ramming, it's a frustration element, but you can overcome this with time and practice and knowing when you should and shouldn't engage in it (as mentioned above).

After a while you will be able to bait the head on and use it to your advantage.

Bull ...

It is a last-ditch tactic in air combat ...

in Wowp not a battle goes by without at least two ramming attacks

the probability of successfully executing (and surviving) a ramming attack approached impossibility ...

and the the rammer always survives ...  now if they made it so that both planes die, it would be a bit closer to reality.

and yes, head-ons you can evade, but especially bots ram from all sides whenever they get a chance and you are their designated target for the battle.

Then you're doing something wrong. I haven't had a single ramming attack I didn't want. And I play chicken only when I'm sure I'm stronger.

I'm not uber by any means, average Joe, and I've managed to evade all - that is, not place myself in a situation where I can be rammed from the side.

I didn't say that they always succeed in ramming me, but they certainly try !

It happened to me; ram from behind. And you are in luck, because I have send that replay to Zen from Shrike gaming, so you can see it by yourself:

Yes. It was annoying. Not when enemy plane rammed you, but when friendly plane did that. Thats why mechanic is changed.
