Hi all

I need some advice regarding Swift

1. Is Swift a energy plane or a BnZ plane it veryyyyy different from tier 8 Spitfire XIV?

2. What equipment should I put in the 5 slots?

3. What Pilot skills to use?

I would advise Marksman 1 and 2 for the pilot skills.

It's a dogfighter with extremely good acceleration and top speed. The swift excels at hunting down heavies.

The issue the swift has, the 30s require a lot of self discipline and training. You need to wait for the right time to open fire and to do effective damage to the enemy.

swift is a completely different ballgame and the only downside of the spitfire line. (allmoust as if it dont belong in there at all, the vampire would have been a MUTCH better option)

you come from planes whit lots of shooting time and high velocity guns allowing you to miss alot and at the same time get the kills, to a plane whit more or less no shooting time and very low velocity on its guns and thus is very unforgiving for misses)

your first 10-15 games will be spent just trying to understand how the guns works and you will quicly notice that they wont work whitout some serious modding. pilot skill marksman 1 is mandatory and so is gyro sight equipment.

the grind to specialised will be hard whitout having access to reinforced bolt carriers equipment but the plane becomes so mutch better when you get it, so there is light at the end of the tunnel, it just a very looong tunnel.

for the rest of the equipment i would say increase your turn rate. the plane is allmoust too fast for the turn and burn meta that exists even in tier 10.

i have never feelt i needed more speed, perhaps less if i am beeing honest, but i have deffo needed more turn capabilitys then what it has unmodified.

and it dont realy help to say that: well it is ment to hunt the fast planes, cuz you as a LF must be able to take and defend capture points and that means turn and burn.

I have the swift, nightmare getting it  to specialists, but now i have and its great, got ultimate bolt carrier, marksman 1 but i do recommend get dive special crew skill, requires 3 skill points, 2nd from the end, this plane is best for this set as can climb high alt in seconds say 33k. then pitch dive 45 degree thrus enables dive damge bonus take out any plane in one dive.

Also if at low level and being chased again shoot up to the stars full thrust most planes wont bne able to catch you aprt from the mig or me maybe. They will give up or stall, when they turn tail go into dive mode enable bonus watch them explode lol
