Test server

Vule777's Photo Vule777 17 Sep 2018

Maybe i didn't noticed or i missed it but there is no test server for Warplanes.

It would be nice if we could try some new planes or higher tiers, to see which nation, class.. to grind.

Well ok, but I didn't mean like that. i am aware that we have a lot of benefits here but I meant on possibility to try new planes.

New players who playing tier 1-3 they wouldn't get that much boost and interest for the game, first of qall planes are ugly, slow, they can't deal with bots...etc, but if they can taste tier 10, I'm sure that majority would stick to the game and give its best to win tier 6-7-10.

There is no common test server for world of warplanes currently. There was in the past but it was under utilised for testing for feedback rather than testing and playing higher tiers and premiums.

You want to be able to test planes. For this you don't need a separate server. AW has rental tanks and WoT has tanks that are available for everybody for special events.

It shouldn't be too hard to implement something like this but I'm not sure if its worth the effort. I think YouTube reviews are more useful.

OP, great for suggesting that because it shows a perspective of a new player as yourself (new in a sense you're a recent addict here among us hardcore junkies :-)

Something like this would be much needed to incite the passion of the new people. All of us who commented here already have almost all the planes we want and it's of no interest for us, but I've looked into your hangar OP and you're in a striving phase. "I want this, and this... oh, and how will this plane look like?!!!" We have all been there :-) and all the new guys will go through it.

For them it will be very, very beneficial.

I will not go into what is easy to implement or not, but if the Test server as in WoT is a major problem, how about the Training room, but where you can take ANY plane in the game (stock config) and give it a spin? I would surely like it. No points, no costs, nothiong - just try and decide what lines you'll pursue.

I can't see anything wrong there, only the possitive - raising interest for the game.

As you said, I'm relatively new and I didn't know about "Training room", I mean I did but I didn't know that we can test all planes there. Thanks for info.

Here's the thing - you can't. Only the planes you already have.

What I said is it would be cool to be able to take any of the planes from the game.

I think that's a great idea, much better than rental planes. Then you can test without bothering anybody else.

I hope WG is not afraid that people will only play in trainingroom then.
