ye this is the main reason why you dont see german ground attackers until t8.
you get a normal plane at t4, then boom you are stuck whit 20mm and no bombs when you get to t5 and that trend continues for the t6.
you are better off grinding the ger heavys and move to the ground attackers from there as the t7 atleast get some bombs.
russians on the other hand gets bombs AND rockets in allmoust all tiers...

About the Ju88, there is also the bomber (i have it in my hangar).
In most cases, the right question is not "why?". In most cases, the right question is "why not?".

You're right, i just pointed out that the Ju88 is present in both version, not only the anti-tank one,
Returning in topic. i would appreciate too the possibility to load bomb on Ju 87. I'm just not sure if it is better to keep it a GA, or making a (diver) bomber, like historically it was.

Historically Stuka has the following armament:
Ju 87 A: 2x7.92 MG + 250 kg bomb OR 2x250 kg bombs without rear gunner cockpit
Ju 87 B: 2x7.92 MG + 4x50 kg bombs or 1x500 kg bomb
Ju 87 R: 2x7.92 MG + 250 kg bomb
Ju 87 C: 2x7.92 MG + 5x50 kg bombs + 1x500 kg bomb
Ju 87 D-1 & D-5: 2x7.92 MG + 1800 kg bomb
Ju 87 D-7: 2x20mm Autocannons + 1800 kg bomb
Ju 87 G: 2x30mm autocannons + 1000 kg bomb OR 2x37mm autocannons and no bombs
The truth is WG follows the history line. The bad news is the "specialist" configuration is the only Stuka without bombs and this is the modification when Stuka production was terminated. Another issue is the autocannon rate of fire. All 30mm and more autocannons have reduced rate of fire (37mm for example is reduced to 45 rpm from 160rpm)

One punched right into my grandparent's basement, unexploded. True story.
And no you can't have it. It's long gone along with the house.

thx for added info. As a matter of fact the very slow firing rate of autocannon of 37mm is a pain in the ¤ss. I dreamt of and wished it had 90 at least. One can not use the Stuka at all in air combat in order to help one´s fighters in a busy area exept in a favorable situation.
45 rpm is the main reason why i dont want to fly this often. Only GT hunting is ok but it is absolutely not enough. I should think WG should do domethinng about Stuka. I sold out Su-87 and Su88 twice in the past due to slower, awful firing rate.
cheers,

Inspired by a post RFC made just minuets ago, I took through the blog section. Specifically the Dev Q-and-A's
I thought I would have a look through some old ones to see which of the items had come to be.
I found this in Feb 2018 Pt1...
Q. Can we have bombs on the Stuka?
A. The current Stuka modification in the game has no airbrakes. Thus it will not get bombs. We have plans to add a whole sub branch of Stuka dive bombers later this year.
Well, that was nearly two years ago now...
