So did the event started already or not? Are we going to see ladder in real time ( 5 min 30 min update or whatever ) or we play without a clue if we win or not?

LE: nvm, found it , its 17.00 CET.

The US site looks much better and more structured ... wonder why they don't use same content on both sites ??

Nope, rewards are the same.

There are just more positions in the ranking because EU has more players.

EU has top 20, 50, 150, 300 and 750. NA has top 10, 30, 100, 250 and 500

It's not the different icons on the NA site, it just gives a much nicer and more compact overview. IMHO.

OK, so clearly in this stage of Personal Rating event, if you really think about reaching top of the leaderboards:

- for fighters - only british spitfires, maybe russian yak light fighters line, and for masochists - japan tree also. But mostly I see ppl with crazy kill count in spitfires / meteor / attacker

- for multiroles - Ta 152 ftw, but also british Tornado + Seafang seems to be most succesfull

- for heavy fighters - XF5U just rules the skies; or pick up Me 410, it's also a butcher in mid tier battles

- for GAA - I guess IL-20, IL-40 and don't even bother trying german ones

- for bombers - RB-17, A-26B in low altitude zerg rush, unstoppable most of the time

That will be all about diversity for airplanes, if someone really want to exist in leaderboards.

Change my mind.

You'r missing a lot of possible candidates. For most classes I would choose different ones.

TA 152 is a LF, not multirole...

Week 3 - the conditions for the 1-st and 2-nd positions in the last period (t8-10) are different in the game than these stated in the article - ingame only for this period there is not only 1 group with 1-20 places, but it is further divided to 2 groups: 1-5 and 6-20. So, if the true leaderboard is in the game, if you are not in top 5 in the highest group, the rewards for the mid tier group (t5-7) are higher.

Actually, all the rewards except t5-7 ingame are different (lower) than the article ones.

Why are there tier III planes in the Sandbox (tier I and II) ??

It clearly says :

• Sandbox rating – tiers I-II
• Period 1 – tiers III-IV
• Period 2 – tiers V-VII
• Period 3 – tiers VIII-X.

but almost every battle in the Sandbox has tier III planes !? So the noobs with their shiny new tier I/II planes have to compete for a top 3 spot (for rating points) against their own team mates flying better planes and fight the enemy who has better planes. Guess which planes end up in top 3 ??

I would think that at least for this event they WG stick to the planes in the tiers for every period. Especially the Sandbox, to attract new players ?
