look around in the hangar. below the big zeppelin there two planes standing there. one is clearly visible and the other is covered up. i don't think i have seen them in the previous version of this hangar or am i mistaken? One of them is obviously the A-26 Invader, the US premium bomber (wasn't there an unfinished RB-17 in its place before?). The other however could be a teaser for the continuation of the US line and from the features sticking out it looks like a flying wing design, something like a Northrop YB-49 perhaps?

EDIT: as mentioned below, NA forums noticed this too:

http://forum.worldof...ger-under-tarp/

given that multiple people independently identified the plane as YB-49 i would say chances that it's really it are quite high. By its stats and considering its a heavy bomber i would think it should be at tier IX which would make YB-35 its natural predecessor for tier 8 but leaving the top spot open. And there's the problem: i don't see an obvious flying wing candidate for the top spot yet i somehow doubt this branch will have a completely different aircraft design at its crown. there is always the possibility though that like for many other trees that the tier IX design will be extrapolated into tier X (just like for Japanese fighters) - and probably there are even proper paper designs for this.

Yes, it's the Northrop YB-49, jet engine version. WoWp NA forum is talking about this plane right now!

eekeeboo!

I'm your talking cricket!

Let's talk about the Northrop YB-49, why, when and premium? The hype is very high right now! It can be obtained by hard missions?

Indeed, would also be good on the German side to see the Horton HO229,  or H.XVIII or similar, guess the closest the RAF got was the Vulcan, but seems like overkill :)

EDIT: Seems like the UK did experiment with flying wing designs in WW2 time period, didn't exactly cover themselves in glory though :amazed:
