One of the guys wrote on the Forum today something that made me wonder. He said "most of the people here are quite satisfied with the game, only complain about bugs". And if you browse the Forum, it is so. Besides an occasional troll or two, all the other complaints are the bugs.

So please stop implementing new content for a while and focus on fixing things. It would be enormously beneficial. Just say so "now for several months we will be polishing the things that annoy you, and only after that you'll get new stuff". Loud and clear. Make micro patches weekly, on two weeks, whatever, say what you fixed there and what will be the next targets.

I simply can't see a soul here who would object.

I understand the need to present this and that new for the next quarter yadda yadda - I do my share of board meetings - but polishing this game would be enormously positive for the health of the game and the community (and it will reflect in support), the very best thing you could do for your player base now.

Thank you.

I also said said that i think theres a lot of pride in bug fixing & i mean that. We know the situation and all.

But if you guys just make update notes with:

Hey, we feel the current situation asks for a bit of bug fixing over game development, so heres a couple of ideas well be working on....

In the meantime, weve fixed the following stuff for you...

Id be a huge fan of that :B

Yes, that would be great.

Fix the bugs to have a "clean" base for new development. I think there was quite nice new content in the last patches, but it was overshadowed by the bugs. And that is really sad. I like the game and most of the events, but most bugs and most answers of the support just makes me angry.

So, i would really like some buf-fix-updates.

I support this very simple and beneficial idea.

well said.

i did a post in an another topic similar...

changing game concepts could be a good idea to move on from past mistakes.

but past mistakes were based on ignoring community feedback... who loved that game and did not want it better ?

it's when you think you are enough good that the end will begin ..

good night all

Good idea. :honoring:

Aside from the atrocious matchmaking and one-shot bots (not really bugs) I have no real problems with the game, but the Game Center asking me for my password every day and black screens really irritate the *(*&%^%%$ out of me.

Yesterday on the NA server again black-screens/no-queue when entering ; before I had shut down the game and re-entered I was killed twice and the battle was almost over.

About time that was fixed ...

The issues with bugs is well known and the team is constantly working on it. But not all resources that are available will/can work on bugs. Each team has its own responsibilities and you can imagine how that already affects the speed of fixing bugs in the different areas and finding them especially.

Vertical organization and siled work on a project gives poor results, just see the situation in France at the moment to be convinced.

do not even talk about the lack of listening to feedback.

The idea of having a healthy base instead of adding pseudo new content to hide the lack of this same healthy basis, we call it the flight forward, and to consolidate the famous base (or community) of players it is anything but effective

and in the end all the development teams should have the same responsibility to make the game a success at the commercial minimum and at the top for the players

satan probably make stats, but they are cold facts, qu'elle est la limite pour déclarer l'échec ?

or just hire some fresh muscle, dedicated to fixing the game, the crew can continue releasing new content

Fantastic idea. Fix the FPS drops. Its almost 2019. Many people are not used to play in 45 FPS...

If you want to earn some money and get more players fix the game FIRST. Hire new employees to fix bugs and invest in YOUR game to have PROFIT.

Thats how it works.

Co you know... People generally refuse to play broken games.

But we are still playing it - so why should they care...

It has to be clear to everybody that listens a little bit to the playerbase that bugfixing should be the highest priority but every update brings a lot of new bugs and old bugs are still not fixed - how does this work out ?

This approach will not bring fast and most importantly the expected result.

We understand that the timing of the fixing does not always coincide with the expected, but to say that we do not care-not true. I would like to point out that immediately after some update dev team try to quickly fix errors that strongly affect the gameplay/event, plus between the patches on a regular basis we're shipping client/server patches with fixes.  I encourage to not panic  - bug fixing has one of the highest priority and Dev team is working steadfastly on that.

Just make sure that if theres particular ways in which we can help you guys with this, that you communicate them. Okay, we know we should submit bug reports, but if anything else helps let us know.

Problem is despite your efforts on bug fixing, you create more bugs than you fix on every patch you make. And this has to change if there is any hope ahead for the game.

Then we will be able to concentrate how to fix its major design flaws...

Major design flaws were fixed more than a year ago.

We are talking bugs here.

Fortunately my personal opinion is shared by the entire WG Company and a vast, vast majority of the players old and new here.

We are discussing bug fixing, not "the end is coming".

There is clearly not enough testing done for updates. Every update brought a lot of new bugs and not only that - again and again very similar bugs reappeared. Best example are the mission bugs. It can't be that hard to test this properly before release.

That's why my statement about lack of care - that's what this is.

We are paying customers and not beta testers.

There were now several threads in this forum where people asked to stop development and first of all do bugfixing. There was not one voice against this. This should make it clear how serious the situation is.

Make sure that missions are working, make the game more stable and get rid of this stupid cache.
