here's the list of terrible ideas of wowp, the newest one is the number 4 (Specialist ! Enhancing !)

 

1- neutral team

 three teams in one battle is always unfair for one of them.

 

2-idiotic daily missions, idiotic missions of the events

low tier must be easier and high tiers must be harder, it's one of the game designing basic.

nowadays I've seen many players they leave the game and back to hanger. one of the reasons is they have a mission and that's not possible.another reason is they see the battle unfair and they're sure it's a defeat. and last one is bugs and game crash. 

 

3-the capturing .

step one - the competition starts with an engagement over a neutral base ,it's an unfair situation and the luck has an important role. also the team which attack later has a better situation and it's not good.I mean you attack first and chase a white defender now your enemy comes and sees your chasing the defender, so the second attacker always has an advantage.

step two - one team has done 90% of the capturing process and another team 100%. the team with less cap point lose all it's 90% and it makes the gape between teams larger. in a good game you must help the weaker team a little bit to keep the fire of the competition alive.

step three- now the weaker team are in a harder situation they have to lose their boost, make their engines hot, and re-engage the opposite team while they have cool engine +AA and defenders support and some times +bombers or rockets of military center. I've seen many player dies over the airfield and back again and die and back again and die... I called this the airfield hole, they don't know they must ignore the airfield and try for other bases..

 

also when a team capture a base all defenders and ground targets destroy! it's like you're enjoying your food and suddenly it disappears!

 it's like some invisible guy steal you target, it's like scratch your nail on a glass window. after 2.0 designers made the game more kinda realistic but capturing rules are mindless,amazing,unbelievable...

 

4-Specialist ! Enhancing !

a new player buys a new plane, versus an old player... he has stock plane with unskilled pilot it's enough unfair.  

now the genius designers has added something new to make it more unfair, yes the "Specialist".now one side has full upgraded plane with skilled pilot and more consumables and equipment and the other side ...

 

also Specialist and Enhancing have ruined the characteristics and specs of the each plane! without Specialist and enhances Spitfire was Spitfire and Zero fighter was Zero fighter but with Specialist and Enhancing you can make the Spitfire more maneuverable but slower and less HP what are the characteristics of a Zero fighter.actually you make changed your plane to another plane only it's body looks like what it is.

now your knowledge of planes and their behaviors is wrong

 

5-higher chance of critical damages

even if you choose the best tactic for your dogfight a critical damage could change everything.

you have a Fw-190 vs Spitfire, the best choice is head on attack, right ? now how do you like a critical on your pilot

you have F4U vs Fw-190 best choice is turn fighting and critical on your tail...

you have Bf-109G vs A7M best tactic is B&Z and a critical damage on the engine ...

 

6-spawn points between two sectors and airfields

your going from one base to another one with your GA and suddenly one enemy GA on your tail, kills you like a piece of a cake and this is not because he was good pilot, it was because he was dead somewhere else.

and over the airfield!!!

 

7- squall line

it looks a help for the weaker team , like a last hope for a hopeless team but IT'S NOT !

first of all it rarely happens and when it happens it just makes the result unfair, squall line tells you don't be tough don't resist just die and teleport till you have time! it just ruin the game result when two teams play good and usually it changes the place of the who deserves win with who doesn't.

 

8-more realism

I noticed my bombs can damage myself, is it funny or intersting ? NO

the question is ,why more realistic things while the gameplay, capturing, respawnig, buildings destroy suddenly and remake magically and etc are too unrealistic ,BS and meaningless


this amount of free gold rewards shows WG is trying hard to keep the game alive by an oxygen mask and electric shocks.

many players leave the battle after (10 sec- 2min) and back to the hangar because they are disappointed to win or do the mission or have a bug.I never leaved even when I have bug but it almost impossible to win if the opposite team plays at least normal

look at this Xmas events it was a bug celebration.

Its almost as if WG designed for the neutral team to lose all the time.

Wall of text, but what are you Talking About ? All those, who have now a specialized plane and Maybe +5 Crew, started as a newbee also... hu ? And we are Talking About an RNG controlled arcade shooter.. like ALL those online games are in fact ARCADE and RNG controlled…. when i started some weeks ago i had a hard time to learn, but hey, others before had the same Problem. now i am leveling up, and yes, sometimes it is unbalanced, but so what, i am playing for fun, Shooting bombing.. not WINNING is the most important. and if you want Competition, join ur national air force in real life. by the way : do you think US attack on iraki airforce was fair or balanced ? the only Thing i realy hate are those stats padders in the low Levels smashing the Newcomers. THIS has to be solved ASAP... or nobody will stay Long

Zen_monk_, I fully agree with majid_HD, and I played more than 72 in 2x, to be accurate, I got 5.479 battles from 2.0 and 34,883 battles in WOWP before 2.0, doesn´t matter how many battles you play, to know if something is wrong.

And I agree with Zen_monk. 

 

1. Having neutral team give you opportunity to have some early scores on weaker enemy. Also it prevent teams to just get sections for free. 

 

2. Higher tiers are harder, because bots are of higher quality. Low tier missions are just longer, and those tiers are populated with more of less experienced players (so that reduces your impact on the game). 

 

3. First team that reach the sector, have opportunity to cap it before enemy come. They can just destroy defensive bots first, or make big hit on ground targets. The other team can try to come and deny the capture of sector. 

If your engine is hot, it is because you haven't yet learned how to use boost. It is also motivation for new players. 

 

4. Specialization is reward for players who actively play the game, and it is sort of end game content. Grind is pretty fast in WoWp, which is big advantage to new players, but specialization is reason for player to stay in the game after they unlock everything. 

 

5. Critical damages adds to the complexity of the game, and allows the technically weaker players to win in dogfight. 

 

6. Airfields are spawn points. That makes them dangerous for attacking. It works in both ways. 

 

7. Squall line is here to reward the good or lucky players, and to make battle to end. 

 

8. Bombs can damage dropper is mechanic that is designed to encourage bomber players to fly on higher altitudes. It don't effect other classes. 

 

 

It is World of Warplanes long tradition to hammer new players. That is how we are separating ones who are willing to learn the game from other who aren't serious or able to play.

 did I talk about higher tiers bots ? man please read it carefully before answer.

for example a daily mission says earn the require mount of experience for destroying ground targets. in tier X i do in 3 battles for example. but in low tiers attack aircarfts and bomber have low speed and and with the first bomb the base is captured also low tiers gave less exp per battle so i have to play 20 battles.

or it says earn something over a command center and I played 30 battles tier 4  and no command centers while in high tier every two battle at least one command center.

the lower tiers give less exp per battle...anyways

most of the times daily missions are harder in lower tiers because in lower tiers battles are easier

 I don't mean when the second team arrives after 30 sec what I said happens when they arrive 10-15 sec later. anyways the capturing system is more complex and I explained enough.

 

if my engine is hot ??? have you seen my engine in game?? why do you talk about me? when I'm talking about these problems it means I know these problem I undrestand these problems. when you know your mistake and problems you can solve them so it's not my problem and every single time I killed you and won then battle against you my engine was cool enough . the difference between me and you is your talking about me and I talked about game for ALL PLAYERS specially new players. my goal is making the game better and attract more new players and your goal is protecting of what you like in this game. anyway .so you're agree with me it happens for new players! it's good.

 

to have a good game and keep the competition alive and challenging there must be some hope and help for the team which is about to lose, but this game designed somehow that usually helps the team which is about to win.

and rarely the result reverse and that's in very bad way

 take your F2G mount the big bomb, attack with 30-40 degree to the big building in Mining plant and drop it, some times its shockwave damages you 90% !even some times it destroys your plane.

and I know in a simulation you shouldn't drop your bombs when you are low and it can hurts you. my goal is why WG adds more realism while the gameplay is like a magic fury game

here's a photo of one of my friends battles , can you please tell me how to win this, when your tier 9 vs a tier 10 expert with GA in a suitable map for ground attackers?

see? that's one those unfair battles...

 

my friend I know you're a good pilot but believe what I say is good for all of us specially for new players, we experts shouldn't be selfish, we know how to win, we know those unfair rules and know how to use them to win. and if any player knows those rule well enough , could make lot of vicotries. but still those rules are unfair and still game is not good enough. I'm not an enemy for WG, I like to help them to make a better game. but some of their ideas are terrible ideas, maybe not always , maybe not teribble for you and me or CheefCoach or any other good player.   some times they are good for us but for majority of the players they are terrible rules and bad ideas.some times even for you

 

one of the things I said was ...

in these kind of match making when a T10 is against T9  ,WG should use a better map.some maps are good for GAs some are good or Fghters etc. when one side has an advantage like a higher better plane the system should give an advatage to the other side, like a suitable map not a random one

Oh no no, never said that. I always state there are better pilots than me, so for advanced dogfight go somewhere else. I've offered you...

...the basic introduction to 2.x, because I'm sick with people here who made a handful of fights just enough to start posting, and then with just a dozen or so games in 2.x they make literally thousands of hate posts against 2.x. With such a low number of games in 2.x you can only confirm it is different from the dead game, and that's all. They haven't seen all else that's great with 2.x . That's what I offered to a guy with mere 78 battles. And I will continue to honestly offer teaming up with any such player - maybe they're surrounded by 2.x haters and never had a chance to properly explore all the elements of the new WoPW.

 

While we're at it, how is it possible to listen objectively to any such posts? Either guys really made only a handful of games - again, enough only to confirm it differs from a dead game - or they use alt account only for spewing hate (which equals classic trolling). In both cases, it's not a good basis for any serious discussion.

 

There are a lot of forumites here with whom I strongly disagree on certain aspects, but we always communicate normally because their commitment to the game with the amount of time dedicated n thousands of battles earned them respect to be listened. That right had to be earned.

 

 

PS

And for the score you presented, I was flying a plane that I'm not comfortable with. Not my cup of tea, but a necessity to reach tier 10. But if I was in one of my Tier 9 heavy hitters suited for the job like P.228 or HG II, believe me the result would look different for this GA tier X. Much different :)

of course if you had p.228  situations was different for that TierX GA. I myself have seen you in your p.228 with +14k P and your great flying.

but what I'm talking about is when system sees one side is a full upgraded GA or bomber with Specialist and 10 point pilot and the other side is an stock poor fighter it's not fair to choose a map with 2 mining plant a map with 5 garrisons is better. so WG please don't use random map

step three- now the weaker team are in a harder situation they have to lose their boost, make their engines hot, and re-engage the opposite team while they have cool engine +AA and defenders support and some times +bombers or rockets of military center. I've seen many player dies over the airfield and back again and die and back again and die... I called this the airfield hole, they don't know they must ignore the airfield and try for other bases..

 

also when a team capture a base all defenders and ground targets destroy! it's like you're enjoying your food and suddenly it disappears!

 it's like some invisible guy steal you target, it's like scratch your nail on a glass window. after 2.0 designers made the game more kinda realistic but capturing rules are mindless,amazing,unbelievable...

 

4-Specialist ! Enhancing !

a new player buys a new plane, versus an old player... he has stock plane with unskilled pilot it's enough unfair.  

now the genius designers has added something new to make it more unfair, yes the "Specialist".now one side has full upgraded plane with skilled pilot and more consumables and equipment and the other side ...

 

also Specialist and Enhancing have ruined the characteristics and specs of the each plane! without Specialist and enhances Spitfire was Spitfire and Zero fighter was Zero fighter but with Specialist and Enhancing you can make the Spitfire more maneuverable but slower and less HP what are the characteristics of a Zero fighter.actually you make changed your plane to another plane only it's body looks like what it is.

now your knowledge of planes and their behaviors is wrong

 

5-higher chance of critical damages

even if you choose the best tactic for your dogfight a critical damage could change everything.

you have a Fw-190 vs Spitfire, the best choice is head on attack, right ? now how do you like a critical on your pilot

you have F4U vs Fw-190 best choice is turn fighting and critical on your tail...

you have Bf-109G vs A7M best tactic is B&Z and a critical damage on the engine ...

 

6-spawn points between two sectors and airfields

your going from one base to another one with your GA and suddenly one enemy GA on your tail, kills you like a piece of a cake and this is not because he was good pilot, it was because he was dead somewhere else.

and over the airfield!!!

 

7- squall line

it looks a help for the weaker team , like a last hope for a hopeless team but IT'S NOT !

first of all it rarely happens and when it happens it just makes the result unfair, squall line tells you don't be tough don't resist just die and teleport till you have time! it just ruin the game result when two teams play good and usually it changes the place of the who deserves win with who doesn't.

 

8-more realism

I noticed my bombs can damage myself, is it funny or intersting ? NO

the question is ,why more realistic things while the gameplay, capturing, respawnig, buildings destroy suddenly and remake magically and etc are too unrealistic ,BS and meaningless


this amount of free gold rewards shows WG is trying hard to keep the game alive by an oxygen mask and electric shocks.

many players leave the battle after (10 sec- 2min) and back to the hangar because they are disappointed to win or do the mission or have a bug.I never leaved even when I have bug but it almost impossible to win if the opposite team plays at least normal

look at this Xmas events it was a bug celebration.

2. I agree, they should be reworked

3. If you see what  is wrong, do not repeat the mistake. Adapt, dude! Switch targets or pick better plane next game. Or maybe don't rush whites, wait and stalk the enemy when they come. Killing ground objects/sector def planes gives 20-30 cap points, killing enemy player (or bot nvm) gives you 50. Pick the best tactics.

4. What is wrong of making your favorite plane better? There was always tuning (see spitfire DB). Afterall no one is forcing you to do it.

5. Use consumables (med kits/repairs/etc.)

6. This is a random situation, not game design, you could take the kill.

7. You say pre-2.0 was awesome (where was no respawns) but when the respawns are gone for 2 minutes its super bad, huh? Or maybe it is bad expectations, who ruin the game?

8. Bombs? Fly like 10 meters higher and don't die? Use them vs following planes to kill them? And the realistic cap whine made me LoL. If you are so disappointed and aggrieved, no one is pushing you to play. Be positive man, stop these apocalyptical speeches.

I don't know how awesome 1.XX was, but changes are not necessary bad. The game has changed? Learn the new one and rock, or be disappointed and leave with peace. I agree WOWP is full of bugs, but I don't let the bugs to ruin my nervous system. Be cool no matter if you are going to play or not. The more spent rage and nerves means toxic for everyone and for you especially. Nerves are worse than cigarettes.

no I didn't say that. I don't have a problem with white team myself and 95% of the times, when me and red team attack to the same whites it becomes blue,I'm not talking about my problems

 those 3 steps are not my problems, those are mistakes which I see many players do everyday

this is what happens usually.

usually red and blue engage over a neutral white. the situations is a little better for the lucky one. so if we supposed both team equal the lucky one is the winner.

then for few seconds the base is locked and it's an unfair situation . for example if blue team captures for few seconds if a red kills one blue it's kinda pointless. and after few seconds the blue team has AA support and defenders while red has no advantage. and situations goes harder and harder for the weaker team. it's lack of design.

first ,a better plane is not my favorite, I like it as what it is

Which ideas of which game and which design do u mean ? it is just a cap the flag defend the Tower egoshooter just with plane Skins, thats it... ist not even a Team game... it is focused onto the egomanic selfish stats adicted, ramming, Shooting, padding whatever he can do to feel a bit better than others… sorry, but please leave ur tanki online doctrine, and start to make real games...

1. Agree. How does the capture balance work when you still have a majority of GTs or Defense bots to kill and suddenly its over? When bombing I can kill all GT and still have no advantage. Even more confusing when opposition join in and flip the cap with one fighter after you have most GT done.

 

2. Agree. The plane is the plane. If you let someone change it to characteristics it could never have then you may as well fly cartoon air planes. Realism only works if you stick to it. In 1.9 at least you could see the head to head match up of each player and type and so form a plan. Now its just crazy.

 

Pet hate is unlimited ammo for guns that can fire all day. Realism? and dont say that over heating takes care of that - only if you have cannon.

 

Last part is ramming which is handy but Realism? 2 tonne plane hits 2 tonne plane = 4 tonne scrap. nobody should win that one
