What do you mean? The Corsairs are awesome if you like mediocre aircraft that does not excel in anything, just like any other multirole. Or do you mean the stock F-94D, than yes thats one horrible thing.

If you have the F94D then first get the rockets. As far as i know these are the strongest air to air rockets in the game. First pilot skill should be the one for air to air rockets. Then headons will end in easy kills.

The vulcan is absolutely glorious. I would get it next after the rockets.

Without the top engines you will die a lot but you will also get kills.

If your problem is the way to the F94D then I don't understand your problem. The corsairs are fun.

Agree completely, except I'd go gun upgrades first, then add rockets then work on engines. The Vulcan gun is the best on the game for me, good range, great accuracy, insane fire rate and cools down in an instant for another long burst.

Stock configuration it's a bit of a pig, when fully upgraded she is a fantastic addition to your hanger.

I meant the stock F-94D config.....calculating i figured that u need to gain same amount of Exp. points for the top airplane config as for the next plane of tier X in line...and thats about 225.000 experience points...ya know..once for the top config and another time for next airplane ;-)

It's near the same cost as the other t9's. Yes, there is a serious grind at the high tiers, but maxing the line is close.

The F-94 xD is one of the few planes i dont have and i really want(playing corsairs for 3 tiers can be boring). The people that have it say that its more interesting than the tier 10 cutlass!yes the grind can be tricky. You go for missiles and then for the "sound of freedom" (A10 memes are lit) and thats pretty much it...then you get some engines...and ok...you might get the specialist in a month or two BUT who cares?!Its one the most fun planes to fly in the game!!!! It might be rought at the start but once you get the fast firing 20s and then the Brrrrtttttt you melt everything...there is no reason to get the tier 10 at all!

**Dahm you...i had beraly enough to get the Yak-30 and i bought the F2G instead**

Absolutely true.

Take my advice and stay at Starfire. The Gutless is dull as dishwater and weak, while maxed-out Starfire offers extremely interesting and fun gameplay.

I would advise everybody grinding towards the F-94D Starfire to make sure they have 110,400 free experience available after they've acquired the plane.  Use that to research the second set of 20mms and the top Vulcan cannon immediately.  The bottom guns are terrible and the second set of guns is no more than average, but the Vulcan cannon is one deadly shredder of enemy aircraft.  To see what I mean, look at the damage per second figures:

Bottom guns, 4 x 20mm M3 ( C ): 120

Middle guns, 4 x 20 mm Mk.12 ( C ): 180

Top guns, 20mm M61 Vulcan: 800

That's why I advised to first go for the rockets. I don't remember how much XP they cost but its a lot less than the Vulcan and they make the grind for the Vulcan easier.

This is one of the rare cases where I used free XP (normally I use it for WoT)

Because of the Vulcan its one of the best planes in game. The Cutlass doesn't have it and so is a weak follow-up.

So much the better if you have the free experience for both the Vulcan cannon and the rockets!  This is also one of the rare aircraft where I used free experience to research modules.

The Cutlass is a contender for the worst tier 10 in the game.

Among those I have it surely is the worst. Total waste of money and time and garage slut. The only redeeming thing it has is - it comes naturally by playing Starfire, doesn't feel like you have to grind for it.

Suddenly you see you have it researched and a bit of you wonders "now c'mon, it comes after Starfire, it surely has to be good if not better". It is not.

Well, I have 19 out of 20, the missing one being the German bomber, the EF-131, which may very well be a dog if the tier 7 is anything to judge by.  But, out of the rest, I struggle with the Fw 252, I don't like the BV P.215.02 much, I'm rubbish with the Me 262 HG III, the F-84F Thunderstreak is good for ground work, but not for aerial combat and the F-86A Sabre has machine guns...

...but on consideration I do think the F7U Cutlass is for masochists only.

They haven't nicked it Gutless for nothing (and it was not only for weak engines). It transferred accurately into the game.
