Great plane! Congratulations!

Its benefits are high altitude, high speed, good maneuverability.

only the guns are a bit weak, but on the other hand they need some time to overheat.

It turns better than a Me109E and is faster than a Spitfire, A6M on the same tier

I like it

Excellent description lol.
really, this aircraft can do anything except making a kill of its own which is a bit frustrating for a fighter

Fair, but i heavily prefer a good number of other tier 5s over this aircraft.

Well, fair, kind of, but I still think I am correct, statisticaly.  The fact you can make it work may not be that pertinent, and even you do about 60% damage in it compared to eg. your Bf-109E or other tier V fighters.

Let me rephrase it:  Any new owner of the plane should expect to do a lot more assists than real kills in the plane, until he, with a lot of effort, determination and tears achieves the level of profficiency 0berhessen has.

That much said, flying it is not frustrating, it's a joy. There is a reason it has just 3Mg's. With anything more it would be way OP.

All i was trying to say is:

This plane has its possibilities - once you give it a chance. Maybe not love on first sight.

Statistics are one side. But it can do much more than just Kill-Assists.

Good hunting Sirs:honoring:

Oh, definitely. It is completely wonderful for sightseeing and for press/reporters duties.

Pylon racing.

Speed records.

Beauty awards.

General smugness.

In fact any flying which does not emphasize shooting.

ok, ok, I will give it a chance :hiding:

I'd say that for a maiden flight, a 12-1 kill/assist ratio is rather decent ;) True, less barrels and less pounds of lead per second than most other planes on this tier, but let that not mislead you, it's definitely a fine machine.

I have taken it for a spin yesterday and I have to withdraw my previous observation.

It IS a nice plane. Kind of a tier VI performance with tier III armament.

I do not have any spectacular results to show, but 6-8 destroyed with similar number of assists and around 7500PP average, with 50K incomes per battle is not too shaby.

Feels kind of like tier V Mustang.

It's guns are enough to down a soviet or german bombers and all heavies it encounters, including ADF Beaufighters. It struggles against Me-410, because there is almost a parity of firepower between He-100 and Me rearguns.

Only GAA's are not recomended targets, because to chew them down it would be necessary to slow down, which is not recomended in this plane close to ground.

If you happen to be top tier it's almost unfair to fly it :)

And always worth to hunt some P38 - as the speed is there.

Once you upgraded your equipment, there is an increased chance shots causes more critical damage, such as fire, engine damage and so on.

The only planes that are really hard to attack seems the US Bombers...

Me410 is difficult as you already found out - but possible.

Happy sightseeing! :honoring:

Make sure you equip it with a calendar so you can mark the day when finally the aircraft in front of you blows up under your gunfire. :)

All joking aside, it will also prepare you to a degree for the type of play you'll need to make the American Mustang line work for you.
