Don't hold your breath.  Some aircraft have been in alleged testing status for years.

What i am looking forward to this <3 :

https://worldofwarplanes.com/warplanes/germany/ho-229/

(What troubles me is that its going to have two of the Do 335's 30mm...which are not as strong as the Ta-152's 30s...still is sexy and weird at the same time (plus the camo looks sick!!!)

It's LF here, but originally it was a fighter-bomber (or ingame class - HF with payload of 1000kg, able to fly at 1000km/h with an operational range 1000km). Stealth technology can't be used at this point of the game. 2x30mm is tricky - if they are like Do 335's it's fine, if they are historical (the same as ME262) this will be a total disaster. I'm very reserved.

Any news on this ?

Meanwhile, Eddie will make some noise in the skies of World of Warplanes again as a gunner of the Bristol Beaufighter, inspired by Iron Maiden's hit song, "Tailgunner".

the plane is already on the site : https://worldofwarplanes.com/warplanes/gb/beaufighter-v-im/

Players will be able to get this aircraft by completing a special marathon like that one last year with the Iron Maiden Spitfire. As soon as it is ready  we'll announce it on the official portal.

As for the Horten is concerned, this aircraft will appear in the game really soon!

This.

If they are from Me262 I will get it simply for the looks & collectability and forget about it. But if they are from HG II, now that would be very interesting...

Armament: 2 × 30 mm MK 108 cannon (same as ME262)

Rockets: R4M rockets

Bombs: 2 × 500 kg (1,100 lb) bombs

This is Version 3 (the one captured by USA), it's armament is identical to stock HG3. There were versions from v1 to v7 and the cannon is the same. Ho 229 v6 and v7 was planned as a mock up fighters with "different cannon", so there is still hope for something better.

A guy in a video told me that the Ho 229 is already in the game files and its guns are confirmed to be identical to the Do335's 30mm gun.

http://prntscr.com/nrw3sg

Aso,its confirmed to be a light fighter both in the game site and the in game client(its teased in the combat reconesance premium plane mission)

Also the stealth characteristic could be implemented in the game...in the from of reduced concealment (as a gimick)

It may be in the game files, but it is not in the API currently.

Great for the guns. So the sniper, 1000m with 90 rof. I would like more them to be HG II variant, 700 range/330 rof but hey, all is better than 262s guns.

I saw the skins, one of the premium paints looks almost as Revell 1/72 I had. And they do have a metallic one with dark-red wingtips... Nice.

I don't get it ; there are 2 kinds of Mk.103 with rate of fire of only 60 and 90.

The Mk.108 has a rof of 240 ... much better ! Unless range is more important to you, Mk.103 is 1000 meters and Mk.108 is 600.

Range is very important in BnZ/sniper planes: means more time on target, which results in more accurate shots and damage...range is more important characterstic than rate of fire(specialy for unmanouverable planes)...262's 30s are one if not the worsts guns for their tier (puting them on a clumsy yet fast platform doesnt make for a comfortable experience either, not to mention their poopy balistics)

Disagree.  Rate of fire increases are far better than range extensions for me - more shots on target more quickly.  Extending the range just means more misses and more overheating.

Well, the Horten Ho 229 and the new bombers got me interested in the game again... Can you tell us how soon, is "soon"?

Summertime is a long long period... It could be the end of May, it could be the end of August...

Also kindly please consider adding the Vought A-7 Corsair II in the game!

I don't see why not, USAF F-84F Thunderstreak was flying until 1972 in the US and up until 1991 in Greece. F-86 Sabre was flying in Bolivia up to 1994. Gloster Javelin was flying until 1968.

A7 Corsair II and all these planes could have easily met in battle during their lifetime!

It is not until they flew but when they were introduced. This game stops at approx Korea.

Not really interested in more jets or bombers. Most of 'm are fantasy planes anyway.

I'd love to see some more real WWII planes, especially from other countries than the 5 main ones we now have. And planes that really flew and fought, not the prototypes that WG is so fond of.

Me too. Most of us play this game because of the iconic WWII planes. Korean war is not that popular as the planes used in it.
