after playing a few games, i found that the defending team has a big avantage… 100% wins   anyone other ideas??

depens on team.More noobs in ennemy team,more easy to win.;)

So there's actually a chance to win a battle despite being an attacker? I only tried it once for now but it didn't look like we'd have the slightest chance. And it was the shortest battle in this game I can remember :unsure:

very bad mode.To win 22k pt. It is a fake.

Only played 5 games..3 wins as defence v 2 losses in attack.

 

WG don't seem to be able to do assymetric modes, but they keep trying lol.

Couldnt figure if its big advantage so far for a side, but enlighten me, is it mistype or? Heavies need 120k for 1st crate, the others need 10k?

I have played 5 games, mm has put me in all 5 games to attack side: 3 wins / 2 losses - read further why. In two lost games I was T7, my human teammate T7 and enemy humans T8+T7. This unjust mm just kills this mode and made my teammates quit. In those two games that I lost my only human teammate decided to go AFK after the battle begun and he saw the mm. Unsportmanship at its best, but on other side, wg is to be blamed here. Like wg you can´t put the same tiered humans on both sides???? Like really????? I am not sure I want to participate in this event with this charade mm any more.

 No majority of OP Heavies flights in 1.9: ---- Alone: 86%    Squad: 14%  ---- Fighter (37%) Heavy Fighter (31%) Multi-role Fighter (20%) Attack Aircraft (13%)

Reason is win requirement man. Not MM 100%. People realise low chances to win or they simply dont like one side and then they better start a new game, with such limited time to finish missions.

It's not that defense or attack have an advantage ... as usual it's MM who decides which team wins. Lots of completely unbalanced teams.

 

i noticed 2 things ;

- very few human players (was lucky to have 3 vs 3 battles)

- the bots are even more ridiculously OP than usual (especially high tiers)

 

One positive thing ; mostly long battles, so lots of credits and medals/badges (=tokens). Got the last 3 Guardians I needed for Vampire mission and even a Marseille in my 109Z and McGuires, McCampbells and Legends.

Agree with all

Bad MM, very few players and many quits mid game.

They should have learned to not use the current MM by now. Guess numbers playing would rise if they got better MM, bet new players espacially quit when they reach tier 4, where they never get anything but tier 5 games.

I had so many bad rounds tonight, it is just bingo, and often one player cant change a thing when team is bad or you are low tier. Also number to get first crate is to laugh of for people who work or study.

WINS yes, but it is no fun - 2 to 4 Super Sniper Heavies always on my arse and very aggressive ... they can always outclimb all ...

In general i think this mode is not balanced. It is much easier to win as a defender.

Made a few battles yesterday i lost 2 of 3 as an attacker and won 5 of 5 as a defender.

7 Battles on Tier 5, 1 Battle on Tier 10.

Attacking depends much more on the Team, while defending can be almost done alone. Thats my impression

I agree with everything that is written above about the game leavers - this became popular since a few weeks from my perception, and i cannot imagine its all game crashes.

2 bombers and 4 angry heavies that defend that chase you until the moon.Not possible to win.

You have a point, exaggerated, but I have played 66 games in tier 4 planes this month, 48 of which have been low tier.  That concurs with previous months' statistics.

THIS MODE is so ultimativ bad for bombers - why do you not test it before it gets live?

Test with who? There are like 300 people playing it live.

I almost do not play with bombers - so I do not have experience in that mode (invasion) flying them. For the rest I did manage to get a lot of wins with GAAs and heavies or light fighters (both as attacker and defender - apart from GAA of course). I must say that this mode is far more balanced than it used to be.

Yesterday I managed to cap the last position with GAA and was the last man standing while 6-8 planes remained in the defending team. Was a miracle or sth and a lot of laugh.

That's the thing. Fighters of all types are ok both in defence and in attack, but bombers/GAA are again almost impossible to play (solo, in flight it's probably a tiny little bit easier to do). Thanks to recent mechanics changes there is no safe-ish altitude nor speed for bombers, and MM guarantees 3-4 heavies on the defending side - all of which focus bombers. The worst game mode made even worse. Not one thing improved, because the basic assumptions of this mode are flawed, and all the wrong changes to bots are aggravated even more here. Anything is better than playing offensive during Invasion.

Also, the amount of bugs is staggering for me. Server connection issues (some of which I've never seen before - some errors with numbers while connecting), disconnects, battles that don't start but keep the plane locked in hangar, and one in particular where the plane behaves like a fish pulled out of water, constantly flapping the tail and changing position (which, I just checked, was NOT recorded in the replay, because there everything looks normal) - omfg.....

I'm stuck with playing 99% (?) games in bombers because of my physical condition, so am learning more and more about them as weeks pass, and after 5 games in this mode (2 wins. 3 losses) I won't play it again, for all the reasons already stated above. So I will be doing the tier 3 daily missions for the destroy AA, in my ju86e and blen iv, and a bit of play in my new ha137 from last week supply crate. Pew pew boom boom.
