Who in his right mind uses something older than Windows 10 ?

So everybody who stated to not have encountered this bug currently. I suspect it's something related to video drivers.

Next question: Anybody here suffering from this bug who doesn't use an Nvidia Geforce video card?

Well I do not play too much with bombers, but I play and also with attack planes and today, well last night, I see all the indications of land targets perfectly, both with the bomber, as with the attack plane, or fighters.
The square triangles and other points of terrestrial objectives I see them without problems.

I do not use mods of any kind, I have W7 my graphic card is an ATI R9 380.
The graphic configuration that I have in the WoP is the one that comes by default, I did not touch anything in the graphics menu or I altered the sight of the sight, just as the game is installed without modifying anything.

So, is there anyone suffering this bug on a PC that is not running Windows 10?

You are right!

I found that the following has improved graphics a lot:

Open the folder where the game is installed. Find the file "WorldOfWarplanes.exe", right click on it. Select "properties", then "compability modus" or whatever it is in english or your language. Select "windows 7".

There you go, the ground targets icons are visible again. At least the 2 games I tried in GAA and bomber.

Windows 7.

Now this explains a lot. For quite a long time I've been reading complaints on various graphic bugs, all completely unknown to me. The only one I had was "disappearing enemy once it got hidden by the cloud or a mountain, and his red marker remains", you know the one. One that was fixable with a quick look in the back.

All the rest were "wtf are those guys talking about? my PC is ancient, and all works perfectly".

Windows 7.

I knew it wasnt my hardware, it had to be something else. Aimless was the hero. Only thing left to change was this. Guess the developers upgraded everything (hardware) but not their software. Windows have a monopoly. If software developers continue to give in and not go for opengl (help develop it), or another solution, we have to live with this. As long as they dont upgrade their support or develpment members. Do not forget, they dont give us this game to be nice, they do it to make big (tax paradise) money.

Had it a few times. Cycling tab or using zoom seems to fix it sometimes.
