No, you had the right sense. Ewoks were the harbingers of Jar Jars and stuff. The Original Sin which tainted the franchise.

I really wanted to see more decapitations, arms and legs being light-sabred, Clearly the bad guys won

Also, if I had a light sabre it would double up as a ciggarete/barbeque lighter and camping stove, Just think how quickly it would boil a pot of coffee.

Nuff said.

Also, good guys are always boring. Look how many installments it took for James Bond to get interesting - only a battered and abused Daniel Craig, crossing the lines, makes it believable. You ain't alive till you killed several (millions) virtual beings, I say.

You have reached your quota of positive votes for the day

how ever thanks wery match

Half a million? I've had single battles in Rome Total War where i'd kill around 20.000 AI men in less than an hour. And thats individually displayed units, which die 1 by 1.
Or well, sometimes by the hundreds, but then they could still die individually.

Only 20.000 men? Tsk tsk tsk.

There's games where the kill count can be much higher.

Unfortunately, this one isn't from one of my playthroughs, but it illustrates the point:

Spoiler

Yeah, only 20k. You see, Rome Total War has at best armies of 20*240 men, so  nearly 5000. Then you can fight off multiple armies at once, but the chance that you'd be able to completely obliterate all of them and that all really have the full 500 men is tiny.

we definately are virtual war criminals. In another age we would be real war criminals, roman legionarres, ss guards, or unit 731 scientists.we should not feel guilty though, war is in mans nature. If we did not commit virtual war crimes , maybe we had to do real ones. So my fellow war criminals , see you in Virtual Nuremberg trial ... I plead guilty...maybe because we are war criminals on the screen we are nicer in real life.

Nope.  If you think I’m unpleasant here and in the game you definitely don’t want to meet me IRL.

For me, it's STILL the bit at the beginning of every WoWP battle where everyone goes in and monsters the under-equipped neutrals to seize their airspace.  Worst bit about the change from 1.X to 2.X - I suspect it tells us a great deal about what is acceptable practice in the lands where the game originated.
