There was an iconic plane in the history of this great nation. The plane saw a lot of action in many corners of the world, and was much beloved by everyone. Loved to such extent that many young men chose flying one as their life path. This is a story of one such comrade.

He was fearles and undaunted, and never flinched in face of danger.

Spoiler

He was was always alert and on point:

Spoiler

He knew every taktik agains everyplane

Spoiler

Yes, there was a reason people loved the Ishak. And Ishak loved them back, giving them...

Spoiler

*disclaimer* no living airplanes were harmed during making of this story; greetings for the red team, thank you for (unwilling, I'm sure) cooperation

Thank you for the wonderful and inspirational story, Apart. That's the way to approach playing this game, regardless of how good you play.

Apparently it is not, being non-constructive and touching on sensitive subjects. In the future I will refrain from creating any such content, and I apologize anyone who could have felt offended by the historically accurate and story-fitting expresion I used, quoting the propaganda of the times relating to this plane's popularity.

You think that's the best Ishak has to offer? You think a brave young pilot isn't capable of greater things? Well, think twice, because the very next day...

Spoiler

Oh yes, 'Mosca' or 'Rata' delivers, quite a lot more than expected.

Too bad that what you excel in individual skill, you lack in team play and map awareness. And you don't forget to flex on chat how awesome you are, just to lose 0-5 superiority and then blame your team .

Ah a fellow RC man.I just got back into the hobby and bought myself a Mini WOT4 stunt trainer, but soon got bored with its docile handling.

So ive now upgraded to a Yak 55 aerobatic plane

I have some plans for an F2A buffalo I drew up on Autocad a few years ago If anyone ever wants to build a flying model of this Finnish Icon.

Spot on

He's just like that!

I can go one better

I'm a little concerned about those hot gasses coming out of the tailpipe though :)

You know, it's amazing - it took immense effort and platoons of people to make the jet engine back in WW2, and nowadays you just... order a miniature one and install it with your own hands, in a scaled down model of a plane...

Best part is if you crash you don't die!

but tbh RC planes dont really crash as often as you tube would make you think, some are quite stronk and some are quite fast!

Its a seriously addictive hobby and one that is genuinely good for your soul. I have helped people with depression recover by going flying with them.

We had a little argument in a game , where at 3 bases to 1 for my team , instead of coming toward me at the centre , he went toward an unclaimed corner base, while writing in chat that it would be a bad idea for me to come and engage him. Which I did, pushed him toward that base where he sniped me with the Yak, but he went far enough from the action, that the game ended with 5-0 superiority for me 2 minutes later, when he said that his team didn't help.Just a friendly chat , no big deal.

I'm putting off working on my map awareness, I have it on my list of 'things to do after I pass 20k battles'. Right now I'm still in puppy stage, learning to fly - and Ishak is one of the tools. So is another Soviet icon, namely IL-2. You think it's only a flying bus with big guns? Think again (and try to guess where am I on this picture):

Thank you for your kind words, this was unexpected :)
