This is going on for a very long time but it has never been this bad. Every 2 or 3 games now i get disconnected from server. My internet connection is fine. I suspect the game servers just cannot handle the load. I tried reconnecting a few times but after awhile i just had to quit playing.

Is this being investigated at all ?

It has always been bad for me.

Disconnects and crashes all the time.

Now it even happens when I start the game for the first time, so on a recently booted PC. Nothing happens and eventually 'program stopped working'. Or 'you were disconnected'. 

When you report it they tell you to use PingPlotter. But it only happens when starting battles or while waiting for after-battle screen, never during a battle. So it's a bug IMHO.

Played 2 games today, first disconnects on joining battle the second disconnects leaving the battle. Won't be back on today or probably for a few days, utterly sick of it. Absolutely unacceptable that these same bugs have been going on for nigh on 2 years now. I've got better things to be doing than relaunching or reconnecting to the same sodding game over and over.

My disconnects happen either as I am sat in the Hanger, or at the end of a battle before getting to see the full results.

It seems to get worse. Especially when starting the game for the first time ...  'connection lost' or 'could not retrieve player details'.

As it only happens before and after battles, you would think they could find this bug if (!!) they really tried ...

Unplayable today. Started fine, then a few disconnects, now 3 disconnects during one battle. This is REALLY ANNOYING, forced me to stop playing. My net is 100% ok, every other online game runs rock solid 30ms ping....

One has the impression that WoWP runs on hand-me-down servers and infrastructure from its better supported sister games and also takes on the retired hamsters from those games to provide power.  The poor wee things are so knackered they can't run on their wheels fast enough for long enough.

 

Game disconnections make the game look like the product of amateurs, yet again here we are with a bug that has lasted for months.

Disconnect from server, unable to retrieve player info, endless queue bug (no average time in queue), game crashes (stopped responding) ... several times every evening.

And what does WG do ; they add new bombers ...

Something regarding this that I have noticed...

On my old machine, I rarely had this issue. I was running Windows 7.

I got my new machine and ran Windows 7 - rarely had this issue. When I installed Windows 10, I've started encountering this bug at least two times per evening.

 

Possible coincidence, but could just as well be related somehow.

I'm running Windows 7 and having the problem(s) several times every evening ...  and WGC also forgets my password every now & then.

WCG forgets the password only after DC. If you don't want to type it every time do alt+F4 and relaunch the game.

Nope, it forgets it randomly ... like when I switch servers (I play on all 4).

Anyway, it should not forget it at all because I checked 'remember password' for all 4 accounts.

It never remembers my password.

 

Oh well, at least we know it's not OS related.
