Maybe we should introduce something like hall of shame topic and post screens from the battlefield or from hangar with the guys insulting others. Just for the players to be aware who they are fighting with.

Some guys just cannot handle being shot down or a lost game.

Had this issues yesterday. Shot down a french player in a heavy multiple times with my MiG-3. After the game he wrote me in the Hangar in french language. Google translated it as a very rude offend. Next match he was in my team. First thing he did, rammed his plane in mine.
Sure if someone gets shot down often thats frustrating, i feel that sometimes for myself. But really, first i ask me why i got shot down so often and what to do in the future to avoid that.

I think that "hall of shame" would be filled really fast how some players act in the last weeks. Flaming, cursing and offending but bring in nothing to win the match. :(

I got called a troll once, purely for shooting somebody down. I thought it was funny, so I shot him down again.

Maybe its my age, but personal insults don't bother me. If they go to far I will report them. But thankfully it happens very rarely to me.

Same here. A French player wrote unbelievable amount of insults ingame after I killed him. All in French but key words were international, easy to understand :teethhappy:

I don't understand why some get so agitated. It is supposed to be a game. We all play for fun. I try to do my best but some days I couldn't hit a barn door. Its how it goes. My 56% win rate puts me as mr average. Its been that for a long time.

The only time I get annoyed is with myself. Oh look, my boom n zoom ended with me face planting the ground again. Oh well.

And it would probably be emptied pretty fast too ... by a moderator, because naming-and -shaming is against the rules. Which is pathetic, as WG itself does absolutely nothing against offensive/rude/racist chats. I see the same people cursing again and again, despite complaints.

Only time I use rude language, is complaining about matchmaker.

I swear all the time, yes because of matchmaking.

There is no point in getting upset with something over which you have no control. I'm quite sure swearing makes no difference to the MM, so you're just wasting energy and making the game even worse for others who really don't need to hear your thoughts. It's not good for your health either.

We all face this kind of random fights. Today: 3 vs 3 humans.

Our team 3 tier VIII planes vs. 2 tier IX + 1 tier VIII. Some of the planes specialized. Is it fair? I do not think so but it is a problem we all face. The thing with HALL OF SHAME is that sometimes you play with a human that takes everything too seriously wishing you cancer, death etc.

WG does not deal with them the right way (24h ban should be enough) and that is why this topic should be created. I faced a Hungarian player recently that was shot down after the squall line, insulting me, wishing me death and was pretty sure that his team will win the match (we were outscored 700 vs 500). It happened that we managed to shoot down all of them. He started crying with private messages (WR > 70%) that HE DESERVED A WIN... Insulting me even more. I know one can be pissed off but this is a game after all. If you cannot deal with loosing a match - learn to play chess.

Interesting how you blame WG for your own behaviour.

Its also interesting how you fail to show either a replay or screenshot of your personal score tab to show how many caps you captured. Personal points alone, is not evidence of a team player.

There's also one interesting kind of annoying losers.

When you kill them flying a Premium plane they start with "pay to win, LTP, you must buy your wins, wallet warrior" and all the retarded stuff from Tanks. Not realizing that top planes of that class will outperform premiums in every way. Or when they kill you with their normal plane "ha ha, you must pay more!"

Best answer is "I'm rich, you're poor... and stupid" :teethhappy:

...now you know where most of these guys come from.

i played Tanks before i joined planes.

And seriously i was positively surprised about how people treat each other in the game here.

Usually much more respect for each other than in the Tanks game.

I wish the ingame reporting system would have any effect, if it comes to team damage, illegal usernames (using Nazi code) and stuff.

But i strongly doubt the WG dudes do anything with the ingame reports.

In serious cases i write a ticket to support, which in 99% of all cases has an effect on the player.

if you are this bad player, you should practice in tier 1-3

I've got no problem with bad players, they have to learn too, even at tier V you can learn. I'm still mediocre at best.

The problem is that matchmaker just fucks up every time and manages to put almost all bad/average players in one team. It could take someone's stats (WR, number of battles) into account, at least they tell something about how someone performs ... now it puts <30% noob players all in one team and >50% players in the other. With their flights, specialists etc. And to top it off, it then gives that team also the smart bots !!

That's not match-making, that's match-fixing.

i disagree, the chance to get a good/bad team is 50/50 - the rest is what you make out of the team you are matched with.

plus it depends on that plane you´re in, for example i perform not bad in fighter/heavys, but bad in bombers... for example - so where should matchmaking put me then?

and where put me matchmaking while im in a heavy and apartclassic unicorn (sorry for naming and not shaming)  is in the waiting line too  ?

In theory maybe, not in reality ... and I simply can not believe that I'm "responsible" for having nothing but defeats lately. Sure, I contribute to the team effort, but last couple of days my teams were almost half human and we ALL contribute to the losses.

I think we are driving away from the main topic... In my oppinion we should create this kind of topic and post this kind of screens daily. Then the WG can also take appropriate action towards the players that are there very often. Now - you do not know if an action was taken or not and what happened to the player. Probably chat ban... Which does not solve the problem at all.

And in my oppinion it is not against the rules...

I agree absolutely with you that something should be done, but I doubt WG will only see posts about offenders as "accusing" and wil remove them (or ban you).

2. No naming and Shaming

In-game rule violations should be reported using the in-game function directly.

Avoid:

  • Accusing others of being toxic in-game
  • Accusing others of malicious activity
  • Accusing others of cheating or using illegal services
  • Accusing others of trolling on the forums
  • Claiming to have "reported" someone

As I am not a native English speaker, I understand this word "Accusing" as pointing at someone without any evidence. When someone is guilty and you can prove it, it's true and no longer slander.

Let's hope and someone from the WG staff see this post and tell us what is legal.

If I am wrong and the WG's rules forbid any "naming", even caused by unfair play, something is wrong with the game's politics.
