Maybe they are waiting till the Eagles all sell out, before stocking in something new?

lol, thing is there were some good offers a few months back, the Goblin,  XF/P-15, a selection of premiums (from memory Pegasus, ME-210 and a few others) the monthly low tier+ premium, and normally a weekend offer, bring some of these back if they want any money out of use, I haven't spent anything on WoWP for a long time, and it will stay like this till something (anything) comes back into the premium shop.

I beg your pardon, but how can this event be connected to your personal gameplay experience?

I'd like to remind you that this event, as well as all the other similar events, is created and held on the side of the Community team. We receive the data about the games played from servers just unloading it several days later. Without any patches or any other stuff that can affect the MM system or balance or anything you can imagine.

Regarding the choice of planes, it's explained in the title. It's the battle of Moscow, we just took maximum possible planes of the appropriate period. Some Soviet planes are not included due to their rarity. And rarity means "number of players who have them atm".

I click on Hall of fame now near my profile and took a look, giving me only 6 players around mine position, 4 of them and me 5th have or I-207/4 or Polikarpov I-153 DM-4, only 2 not! As I could not wide list around me, I went on Hall of fame without putting any name, and start from end from 1000 player, I started count and from 20 players 14 have or I-207/4 or Polikarpov I-153 DM-4, only 6 do not have! So this is good specimen of odds and probably reflect on all players population. So it's no so rear as you said and it seems that someone pick some planes!

#Blindfold, one thing that is lacking at the moment, is offers in the Premium shop, WoT an WoWS have offers every week, sometimes every few days, WoWP has had the same non-offers for months now, no planes on offer, nothing related to weekend mission, just gold and premium time, maybe time to put something back in the Specials?  What happened to the plane of the month as well? a low tier and a months premium was always a good offer (till you had all of the low tier premiums, but now their are the European aircraft which can be added to the rotation), WoT still does this, why not WoWP?

October will bring some new offers to the Premium Shop :honoring: I've sent your feedback to the responsible department, we'll try to make real at least some of your suggestions.

Can any one suggest a good U.S.S.R (researchable) one from the list, seeing as I only have three and none of them fit the criteria.

I've switched back to MGs in the I-210, it just doesn't work with those guns, they overheat way before you can kill anything.

Can't recommend any ... flew I-17, Yak-1, Mig-3 (and some premiums) and even re-bought the Yak-7.

Most capture points was 240 I think. I think I'll just quit this event. Didn't get anything i round 1 and will probably miss some because of vacation, so that makes it even more useless than it already is.

I recommend I-17 and MiG-3. They are both beasts but with slightly different play styles. :)

There are too many factors in this event that need to be taken into account and DO NOT RELAY ON YOU.

1. You need a large map (5 sectors) which means 800 cap points.

2. It is best if the map does not have factories.

3. You need good opponents. If you have 800 cap points map but everything is taken - you will not end up with high score in attack.

That is why after flying more than 50 battles in 2 days it is not funny anymore.

Yeah, choosing axis makes you play weird : you never defend anything, or worse you avoid any fight outside of attacking zones, because any enemy plane shot down, or even just delayed, hinders the recaping of your zones by the enemy…

Nah, they will never beat this hilarious weekend ...

I just quit 2 battles where the entire enemy team was Germans ; they took all bases in minutes and it was 'game over' ...no more attack points for them and certainly no defense points for me.

I've chanced upon DAVAKIS_KONSTANTINOS_1 in a battle (who got 4 chevrons 2 weeks ago) and I checked : he's had 80 games in the last day, so I am quite happy I saw him in a mig3

The funny point about this event is that french speaking people have one day less to complete the missions:

Du 27 septembre à 2 h (heure de Paris) jusqu'au 29 septembre à 1 h 59 (heure de Paris)

From September 27 at 00:00 (UTC) till September 29 at 23:59 (UTC)

I will not comment... :great:

Really, somehow this made whole affair unplayable from USSR side. Normally LaG-3 tier IV is my goto plane for low level dailies, but this weekend I could not do anything with it. I am really curious about results of this round - how people were able to defend. Not me definitely.

Thx for challenging weekend.

I chose to play with Soviet planes and it was really hard.

WG chose a historical window for the event where Soviets were really inferior in quality of the aeroplanes.

The Fw 190A1, Bf109E/E3, Bf110B, Bf 110C6 and Bf 110E are far superior to Soviet MiG 3, Yak 1, Yak 7, Lagg 3 (all versions),  I16 (l), I17 and Lend and Lease P40 M105.

German fighters are faster and better armed, especially heavy fighters. For me, only I17 and P40 M105 give wanted results. I tried to play with Yak 1 and Lagg 3 (34) but they miss the punch and they were to slow in the killing of the opponents. This event showed me how hard was to Red Army aviation to cope with Luftwaffe in 1941-1942 period until Yak1M, La5, P39s (and other modern aeroplane models at that time) did not come on the Theater.

It was challenging but it was fun. If you chase statistic this was not an event for you. Because often,  when I was focused on defence,  players from the red team in German Bf109s and 110s will take rest of the map - and I lose not a small number of battles in this three days. But in the end, I'm happy that I was able to participate (job and family obligations allowed it), and I hope that I will have free time for future events.

At the same time, I'm happy that I witnessed a big increase in players who participate in this event and that the general number of players was in increase.

See you on the cyber skies....

Well, that was a nice way to end the event (at least for me: inb4 we find out that's the *average* # for the guys in the first bracket:hiding:):

Time to pound some AA guns for the w-e mission (and token missions)

Yeah, but soviets only compete with soviets.

But I can see how chosing the soviet side led to some frustrating gameplay.

I know that Soviets compete with Soviets - for overall event.

But for single game - if you have 3-4 players with German planes in opposing team you are so inferior that you must give 110% of your skill to win the game.
