lt feels like WarGaming is never going to do anything about these eternal disconnects. But maybe they could just officially announce that somewhere so I can abandon all hope. In the meantime I'm experiencing 1 disconnects every 3 games now.

I'm sorry but announce what? If you have constant connection issues it is definitely worth contacting Customer Support. An issue with disconnects here and there does exist, still, 1 disconnect per 3 games is a good reason to check the stability of the network connection and game client. I'm sure that the Customer Care team will be happy to check everything up and give some advice if any.

Where in the world are you connecting from? Is all ok with your PC and connection to the wider world? Have you tried doing the ping trace to server to check for drop outs along the way?

I'm playing from southern Sweden and haven't had too much of a problem lately.

On the other hand, I have received a notification starting with "abandon all hope..." but I dismissed it as a junk mail.

Well, my conclusion isn't that farfetched: When I play StarCraft 2 on BattleNet I never ever have any disconnects. Wowp also never disconnects during a game. Only when starting a game. Then you're disconnected from the server after a minute or so. In the mean time your plane enters the game without you. You try to reconnect asap and you always have to re-enter your password. Most of the time it doesn't reconnect right away and you have to close the game with Alt-F4 or kill the process in the TaskManager. Then after re-starting most of the time I enter the game again, although being shot 5 times.

Here and there ?? Come on, really ?

Read the forums, Discord, Reddit ... lots of people complain about disconnects, black screens, endless queues etc etc. All related IMHO.

I guess most players just gave up reporting this problem as it isn't even looked at seriously. I gave up ...

For the record, I also reported these bugs and was advised to use Pingplotter, to ckeck MY connection. There is NOTHING wrong with MY connection. I regularly work from home an entire day and stay connected while working the whole friggin' day without an interruption !!

Also, my daughters play World of Warcraft, Overwatch and loads of Steam multiplayer games and never, ever are "disconnected from server", while at the same time, I'm playing Wowp and get disconnected at least 3 times on an average evening !!!

And indeed, ALWAYS at the start or end of a battle accessing the Hangar, never during a game. That should give the devs a clue where the problem is, maybe ??

Not reporting them myself because I assumed the devs were well aware of this by now, didn't need to be reminded 5 time a day by every player, and are  busy fixing that in the massive bug sqashing update that they're, of course, currently working on.

They are working on a bug fix patch, right? :amazed:

My disconnects reduced to one a week when I did what zen_monk_ suggested by running the client in compatibility mode with Windows7.....infact it fixed other issues too.

I'm running Windows 7 too. A few disconnects per week and none of the problems the people have.

I'm just mentioning my experience since switching from Win10 to compatible with Win7. I was getting 3-4 disconnects a night, plus sound problems(no engine noise or gun fire)......flying name tags with no planes beneath, sometimes no ground target markers.

Now I get just one disconnect a week....if even that.

How to do so?

Right click on the WoWP's launch logo. Choose 'properties'. Choose 'Compatibility' tab. Tick the check box for 'run compatibility' and choose 'Windows 7' from the drop box..................then click 'apply' at the bottom.:)

So, just a few disconnects in a week and absolutely no endless queues (no average wait time) and battles started without you ?? You're one lucky SOB ...

This is a good suggestion. I'll try this. Maybe it will help.

TY.

Disconnects, sound bug and loss of manouverability in most of todays battles. No fun.
