1) Hi @Blindfold and the rest of wg fold, could you give us some insight into how exactly the Personal Points are counted (e.g. how many points I get for shooting down enemy light fighter, defending aircraft, destroyed ground targets, damaged ground targets etc. So far what I observed you get more points for damage then kills. Is it based on % damage you make (like you kill 50% of hp of bomber and get the same points as killing 50% of light fighter)? I know that you can learn about composition of your personal points gained by hovering your mouse over the post game results in the section Personal Points, but some more accurate description what to aim for would help us. Because we feel that the more damage the more points basically. And that is risky for the mental state of pilots - see bellow point 2. And perhaps your guidance in this regard would minimise the risk of bellow point 2 which can ruin a day for the team of selfish bomber-farmers ignoring other objectives like win rate just in order to score high in event ranking. Otherwise:
2) Hello darkness (of useless farming of incoming bomber flights) my old friend...

Just glue yourself to the chair, play good and that won't matter.

Farming bombers gives you less points then killing enemy team members(players/bots). It was explained in one of the previous events what points you get from damage. On top of that you get the points for kill/assist. Basically if you kill an enemy you get 1200 points. Regardless of the actual damage required. If you damage it for 90% you get 900+125=1025. So yes it makes more sense to concentrate on maximum overall damage instead of objectives. Which is probably why press above makes HF puns.
from the other thread:

Red enemy planes - 10 points for 1% HP
Bomber flights - 4 points for 1% HP
ADAs - 3 points for 1% HP
So you get 400+200 points for killing a bomber, 2000+1000 for the entire flight and if you toss in a bot or two it could be a viable strategy at 5am.. I'm not expert in that tactic to say really.
Edit: updated to specs from below.

Sure. I believe this will be the most full guide I can provide. Please check the spoilers
PP for Enemy Aircraft
PP for ADA, Bomber Flights
PP for Ground Targets
PP for Capturing Sectors
And 1000 PP for staying in battle till its end, of course.

Maybe you should pin that post in the gameplay-section. It is very usefull,l but in this thread it will "dispear" after some time.

@blindfoId : How many times has this question been asked ? Indeed, it would be beneficial for the community to post this information in the gameplay specific forum in order to be able to refer to it later.

I've done that right now, placed it in Beginners Guides. A lot of interesting stuff is there, like how to collect the materials you need etc ect.
@blindfold, please feel free to edit my post there, something's not right with the spoilers - they don't open on click but appear opened. Thank you!

P38F
For me it is a plane that can dictate the battle and has nice speed/weapons.
Also the plane i like most of all and has the most hours in.
Geared for be as quick in the turns as possible. Usually i go for speed all the way but for this event i will play with a bit more risk.
I am close to constant above 10000 points in this one but think i will land on an average of 14000-15000 in mastery. My max scores are not as high as in the Beaufort.
Best of the three planes versus higher tiers.
Beaufighter
One word, weapons, On a good run it is just awesome.
Built fo speed.
If i have a couple of lucky runs i can score really good with this one but it is more luck compared to the P38.
Spitfire XIV
Great fighter and perfect for farming incoming in the center.
Built for turnability. Bad thing i havent got a good pilot here, >6 points.
More luck based compared to the P38 to get high scores. More dependent on that the opponent actually flies to me.

Probably the IL-40P and Me P.1102.B ... I'd like to specialize them. This sounds like an opportunity.
There are no tier IX and X fighters participating in this event, so hopefully all you fighter jocks are flying V - VIII. This might be a good moment to get decent PP scores.
Unless it gets too frustrating ; normally while flying GA the entire enemy team wants your scalp and your own team ignores you ...
