Picked up the Sea Hawk again and grinded to the Hunter ; is it worth 6 million ??
I'd really like to have it because it's an iconic plane, but ... so far I haven't encountered a lot of well flown Hunters.

You will regret it. It is like the tier 8 Me 262, battle depends on RNG nothing else. In 1 battle you hit everything, the next battle you miss everything. Its not about skill or equipment, its all about Wargaming's Random Number Generator.
And yes, in tier 10 usually you will face spec op Me P1101, Yak 30, J7W3 and those players gonna kick your arse badly, no chance against em with your Hunter, i mean you start with a huge disadvantage (unreliable guns, crap maneuverability)
I know the competition is stiff in tier X, but I guess/hope the Hunter will be able to outspeed the 1101 and Yak-30 ?? I got them both and they're not exceptionally fast.
Also close to researching the La-160, F-84 and F-94, maybe I should try those first. Not really fond of tier IX and X anyway ...

The hunter relies on its boost to outpace its foes...both of these planes have less boost than you and specialy the yak 30 cannot keep up with you.For your other options, F-84 is more agile but has peeshooters compared to the Hunter...the F94 xD has the brrrrrrrtt so you wont get bored (unless you play in peak hours against 1101s sweatyboyz) and the La-160 is the gem of the La line, its worth it but If you ask me GET THE HUNTER
or the La 160
In my opinion, multiroles are most difficult class in the game because you have to combine going after ground targets and planes and therefore you need situational awareness of both. J7W3 is easier to play in this regard as you drop bombs as supplement only to your main activity of TnB low speed dogfighting. Hunter is like 10 times better than Sea Hawk which imho is one of the worst planes in the game. My win rate with Hunter is after 67 games about the same as with HGIII and Javelin which is not bad. I am still experimenting with different equipment and playstyles myself and am still not sure I have the optimal combo. But what I feel so far is that:
- Hunter is very good against ground targets - you can dish out surprisingly high damage there. Even with guns - against lightly armoured targets.
- You must pick your air targets wisely - the guns are fantastic against GAAs and bombers, good against heavies and some multiroles, bad against anything that manoeuvres too much.
- Also trigger discipline is crucial here. You shoot in short bursts, not as you can with 20mm or 12,7mm (press and hold LMB). Here you first find the proper lead in short bursts and only when you are sure you land most of the shells you press and hold LMB - if you know you can kill the plane in last long burst.
- Yaw is perhaps more important than classic turn. So mastering yaw left / right helps a lot.
- Your boost is your saviour - when Specialised you can dive and outrun most lights except Swift .
- Note, how Kam Invictus is playing it in his videos - especially the part when he attacks ground targets. Just play it in slower motion as speed of his videos is sometimes 1.28.

"May cause the explode problem"
Gonna be a difficult decision .. I have now researched several tier VIII, IX and X planes and about 10 million credits to spend.
Choices : La-160, F-94D, P.1058, Swift, XF-90, Hunter ...
The La-160 probably best suits my flying 'style'. At least it's maneuverable ... but the gun & rockets on the F-94D look awesome.

I am pretty much in a similar situation, but as I haven't had the credits I was ignoring my predicament in choosing between:-
Mig-9
J7W2
Tempest
Ta-183
I have the opportunity to grind some credits with my XP-75 as I have just bought the P-38J and as such have no need to put the decision off any longer.

Having all tier 10 planes I am spared these dilemmas . Looking forward to T8-10 US heavy bombers so that I have something more to grind (if they are worth it). However I have looked into what planes do you have and have to ask, whether you have considered purchasing T8 Spitfire XIV - imao by far more valuable plane than those mentioned above. Or if you want to get a solid T9, you might consider T9 German light fighter P.1092 - excellent guns, high altitude fighter. The following T10 P.1101 is very good too.

I can only speak for the Mig-9, as it is the only plane of those that you mention that I have in my hangar.
It is wonderful:
- the guns are very powerful and deflection shots are not that hard.
- it is very fast, can climb very well too
- it is maneuverable enough so that you can out-turn nearly everything on the battlefield. The ones you cannot out-turn you can escape with ease. So you are always in control of the engagement.
I would advise you to get it: it feels even more powerful than the i-220 is in its tier. You will not regret it. Mine is not even specialized yet, still I am having tons of fun in it. Those Pe.1101 boys loose so much salt

- You can't shoot me! I have a very low threshold of death. My doctor says I can't have bullets enter my body at any time.-
- Handle these capsules with care. Dr. Noah's bacillus is highly contagious. This germ, when distributed in the atmosphere will make all women beautiful and destroy all men over 4'6."-
If they are as horrible over-powered as the German and Soviet ones, I will probably quit playing tier X completely ... already quit some battles where either my team or the enemy had specialist Ef-131 so I was useless in GA. And with a fighter you can not even touch them.
