Does anybody know where the game art assets are stored? 

 

Specifically I'm looking for the award badges (like "fire breathing" for example) in order to integrate some of the art into stream deck icons.

Zen_monk is your man, if anybody, I believe.  He's the one who does the very fine paint jobs for aircraft, examples of which are dotted around this forum.

Cheers for that info, I had forgotten about this post and its associated little project. I found a bunch of planes (cool) and indeed I think I found the icons I was looking for - the badge/award/medal artwork. It all looks mighty low resolution though. 

 

 

WYSIWYG (for emblems) The game somehow superimposes it fine ingame, but what you see / change there will go on plane.
