Just one of the thousands of people asking for this
The game needs a new engine desperately, massive frame drops regardless of graphical settings on high spec pcs, on some maps its literally unplayable.
I know WG doesn't care about this game anymore but there are still thousands of players that do and love this game myself included and that amount can be increased massively

Engine upgrade, and stuff like 4k upscaling, are not planned at the moment, according to some conversations on the official Discord channel. Not enough people paying for prems/gold/planes. To make such improvements worth the investment, WoWP needs bigger population. However keep in mind some work is being done, some maps are revamped or optimized (like the notorious Burma map), though on a much much slower pace.

The WoWP team’s failure to market the game effectively in 2018 and the decision to take development down the blind alley of equipment progression and specialisation is the reason there aren’t enough people buying goods. Nobody, least of all the WoWP team, can legitimately use the argument that large scale development is at an end because players aren’t parting with cash.
Now we’re in a vicious circle. People won’t come to the game unless it is significantly improved and no significant improvement will take place unless people come to the game. The conclusion is obvious.

Well personally, if they change game rules and put the chance of becoming some sort of "contributor" of the game by paying a monthly subscription but you gain some sort of power in some decision I think small strong community could improve the game contents and broke the chain.

And buying premium time is what else but a subscription, albeit irregular? I have to say I'd regard paying on top of that for some sort of voice in the game's development rather dimly. That said, the "voice" of the Western community is drowned out by the Russian server, where the game's population is greater.
