17 you said? In this game I started to take a cap on my own, I don't remember how many of my teammates came to help but there were one or two at the end, when the cap was secured, I moved on. As usual. NO camping needed.

Fair enough. I don't like to stay over the same cap the whole game, so if it is secured and there are other players plus bots, then I go where I think I might be able to contribute.
When I played the Spitfire Mk IX first, I didn't really like it, perhaps because of the level and the fact that I didn't have much experience of the game, now it's a tad better, I start to find my marks with the game and understand how other play, so that I can counter their moves more easily, but overall, I Stay offensive.
I tried the Fw serie up to the Ta-152 hoping that they would allow me to play the way I like in A2A but it haven't been a good experience, I feel better with the P-47B, it's a bit less of a turkey and can do good A2G, but my stats went down the drain, close to low 39%, not that I care much for it, now, naturally my score gets better.

Right, it's a very interesting read - I'll post here only once, for Reasons™.
Let's compare two players - obviously, randomly selected (naturally, right?):

Now, anyone cares to suggest which one of those two understands the roles of particular planes and classes in this game better? Naturally, the picture above most probably proves only one point - one of those guys is a master sealclubber and xp farmer, fluent in abusing the existing game's mechanics in order to statpad. To put it in vernacular, one of those players is a better camper than the other one. Correct assumption, right?
Welcome to WoWS. A very arcade-ish game, with a very pronounced focus on 'appeal' and 'relative ease'. A game which has absolutely nothing to do with flying a real plane (be it a Cessna or F-14, or even a Mirage). A game which - like some other WG titles - revolves around map control, thus promoting skills other than mouse wiggling. A game where planes have particular traits helping them achieve some things easier, and preventing them from achieving other things. A game where strategy oftentimes prevails over tactics, and being a good 'pilot' (i.e. someone wiggling the mouse more fluently) does not facilitate automatic wins. A game where experience (i.e. hours or years spent playing it) does provide a huge advantage, sometimes despite using theoretically inferior equipment. A game where the decision when and where to push or hold is more important than a constant drive forward. Welcome to the game in which even bots are programmed to be able to switch to defending - sorry, should be 'camping' - sectors once they capture them; said behaviour helps to distinguish between a bot and a human, before one learns the bots' nicks or starts using the mod for that.
One can either play the game the way it's designed, and get better at utilizing the tools provided, or propose changing the game in one or other direction, to better suit his or her needs. One doesn't have to be offensive and abusive, but that's also a choice available to anyone playing this game. YMMV, as the Yank car dealers say. In this particular case I'm having hard time listening to 'arguments' presented, hard time digesting the form they are presented in, and hard time agreeing with what's being so forcefully pushed. I can only say one thing for sure - being an outsider must be a tough job. Having very unorthodox views and sharing them in a highly unconventional manner could be intriguing, but in case of this thread is not. I would strongly suggest more distance.

Regarding the initial suggestion, this change won't be implemented for a simple reason: both capturing and defending sectors are crucially important in the game. This is also reflected in the aircraft type-specific missions. The flow of the battle constantly changes and defending key sectors is as much important as capturing new ones. It depends on the current battle situation. I guess it's the main message that other pilots tried to deliver here.
Playstyles, of course, may differ, but it doesn't mean that one of them is better or worse than the other.
