this was on opening second unique supplies crate out of 3(from 8 march weekend mission rewards). The first one opened correctly.

after logging back in the reward is unknown(i.e. nothing useful that I can spot) gold and premuim time are the same.

[speculation] possibly was checking for premium aircraft and failed as I have them all.

 

P.S. that "unique" feature is total crap that makes crates useless. Over the past year I've noticed crates that look complete garbage(i.e. a few materials and consumables) and I strongly suspect that this happens when there is a premium plane but since you have it it re-rolls, but it takes the best slot and re-rolls from everything. Frankly buying those crates is a terrible deal and there have been many "offers" containing them... so maybe improve the goods WG if you wish to sell.

Just to confirm I had the same hairy old bug with one of my crates this weekend.  I’ve no idea what I received.

I already pointed in the first post that premium (which is in days) was the same, so no it was some of the crap rewards.

I've got premium, opened next crate, got some stuff, opened next crate, got hangup.

I've gotten this like three times in a row now, i.e. I see a hangar change menu (to premium hangar), then crate opening effects and then blue sky where it hangs.

known issue, to do with the hangar choice - if you do not have the premium hangar selected when a crate gives premium time, game locks up. Actually you can see what was in the crate - after the game freezes, kill it (Alt-F4 or Task Manager, worse case scenario relog your Win account) and launch the game again. If you do it within 5 minutes iirc, you will have the notification still visible in your Messages (bottom right of the screen) telling you what was in the crate.

... in other words, if your game crashes, you are a lucky bastard that just won some day(s) of premium for free. Try this in WoT.

Shame you can't provoke a crash and turn a pile of scrap into gold...
