Why would you allow 5 weeks for this when it's possible to do it in two days? — not that it seems it has become active.

Well, initially I had planed set the time limit to one month, but some people I talked to thought that it might not be enough, so I extended it by one week. The long time frame allows for on and off activity on the participating account, and the competition's structure allows for that by scoring on the amount of battles done rather than the time it took. I know it's quite possible to do it in just a few days, but the long hours required for this aren't always available, or you might want to spend them on your main account. This way, it's quite easy to split time between accounts, and things outside the game, and still have a fair chance of winning. You have the option to take your time, but you can still blast through it if you want to, and your chance of winning remains the same.

The race has begun, RtoX_Hardy and RtoX_Hessen both choose the German Heavy line.

Day one:

Tier 3 is reached just after a few battles. Lack of Credits will take us some more Tier 2/3 battles until we advance to Tier 4.

Status report  (from yesterday):

 

Nightmare is the organizer --> out,
max is not playing --> not yet out.

chap is already at Tier VIII
Hessen still at tier VII but he announced that he is in a break now
hardy is at tier VIII too with ca. 30 battles more than chap

The content of the 5 boxes in the event this weekend provides chap and hardy with an advantage if hessen will not be able to get these boxes.
But there is still more time and we do not know what prices will pop up till the end of the event.

Edit: I'm done guys. It was difficult to fly with stock planes and inexperienced pilots, but I still finished with a ~68% win rate

It was a nice experience with ~50 hours and 440 flights. Thanks to @nitemare_gary and contestants

My son is playing WOWS but he asked me to give him this account. Please don't hurt, he's a little novice in WOWP

Thank you guys, I wish there was more participation. I was wondering how long it would take to reach level 10 quickly, I guess it would have ended sooner if I hadn't made some unnecessary expenses. I think who will win is not important at all, friendship and synergy are more important than racing, I love that people from different location of the planet can find something to have fun, I thank everyone for this. I will try to participate in forum events as much as possible, you can write me first.

 

The competition is not over yet, those who want to participate should not hesitate to try their luck.
