Hello guys,

I think there is a bug with the bombs and rockets on the Seafang premium plane.

The rockets to a total of 4x 1500 = 6000 damage

The bombs do a total of 2x 4300 = 8600 damage

You can understand whyi like the bombs more then the rockets purely of more influence it kan take over ground targets. If you want to destroy a radar tower in a command center you could do it with 2 bombs but not with 4 rockets.

In the specialist Seafang Bombs are not availeble and you are limited to Rockets only..

The best solution would be to put both bombs and rockets in the specialist seafang as 2 seperate options just like in stock.

I hope this can be adjusted.

Why should this be changed?

You can use rockets to shot at planes and destroy them with rockets.

And you can use a single rocket for light ground targets where a bomb would waste 50% of it potencial damage.

It is more than just the damage number.

Seafang has bombs? I've never flew with them. Rockets are more flexible and more fun. Also, there's no bug. Rockets carry smaller payload, thus the lower damage.

There is actually a problem, in my view, here, just not with the relative damage of the two types of ordnance.  The problem is if you want to fly the Seafang specialised, you have no choice but to mount the rockets.  Since to many, myself included, the bombs are the better choice that's rather annoying.

Yup thought I explained it good enough but this pretty much sums it up.

This is actually the elephant in the room with regards specialization isn't it?

Specialization limits you to the weapon selection that it chosen for you by Wargaming rather than the player.

"Build the plane to perform the way you want it; only top modules allowed".  Yes, no contradiction there, no sir.

You can only fly the plane you get.
If this is specialiced you can benefit from that - but there can be disadvantages, too.

If you don't like the disadvantages - change it if you can. For example you can switch back from specialisation mode to standard mode.

There will be disadvantages because of the reduced equipment.

If you do not like that .... fly another plane!

I did the same because I could not use the single 50 mm gun in specialist mode.
I didn't like the 4x30 mm .... and I did not want to lose the specialisation advantages - that's why I sold the plane.

Do not fly planes you do not like!
